As far as dual diagnosis (mental health issues & addiction) treatment centers go, this place is heaven on earth. Full of angels. I came through once, had an amazing g experience, and after a while of doing well, I unfortunately fell off. When I was finally ready for help again, I had moved back to Ohio, and the only way I’d go back to treatment is if I came back to Recovery Unplugged in South Florida. Clinical staff is phenomenal, my therapist Brendan was amazing, and I HAVE to give a shoutout to alumni team, who still keep me a part of a community long after finishing treatment. My alumni coordinator, Tonya, is absolutely amazing. She makes sure that I still stay a part of an amazing community long after I finished treatment. To her, what she does is clearly a lot more than just a job. She helps so many people, it’s incredible. Much love RU!!!

I can't say enough good things about this treatment center. Graduating from this program is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, and I truly believe it saved my life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care. The staff believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. They gave me the tools, support, and guidance I needed to rebuild my life and find hope again. The therapists, counselors, and everyone on the team created an environment where I felt safe to heal and grow. Recovery isn't easy, but having people who truly care made all the difference. Today I'm leaving stronger, healthier, and more confident about my future than I ever thought possible. I'm incredibly grateful for everything this program has done for me and for helping me become the person I am today.

Today after nearly 7 years, I returned to Stepping Stones as a former client, to inquire if my counselor was still there. She is and I felt a need to express my gratitude for helping me become the person I've been meant to be. Thank-You Stepping Stones for giving me the tools and support and understanding of myself to live a productive and exciting life again. And thank-you Judge Beach for not giving up on me! I was a resident back in 1993/94 and I can honestly say they made me into the 2%er I am today married for 31 years with 2 grown children and 5 grandkids. Not bad for one of the hardest hitting EX cocaine/crackheads to play the game in Florida. I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for the House of Hope and then Franks Place after.

There isn’t anything I would change about my experience with the Beachcomber. Ever since the first day I walked through the doors I felt welcomed as if I were family, and now I am family. We were referred to the Bougainvilla House by Joe Dimaggio Hospital. We were assigned a therapist (Michael) and his student assistant Jacob. We had the best experience, especially in a troublesome time for our son. The care, concern and expertise was TOP NOTCH! FInding a therapist that clicks and is a good fit is tough. These guys were amazing. We visited 2x week for 2.5 months and our son was discharged with tons of tools and coping strategies. Michael and Jacob not only helped our son, but also taught us a lot about his diagnosis and what we as parents could do at home to help. I highly recommend TBH to any parent that is looking for a great therapist.

My experience with barc has been phenomenal. Apart from not having insurance, I was accepted into the program. Dr Faith Bird is by far one of the most influential therapists i have encountered. The Source is an outstanding treatment center that truly prioritizes the individual. From the beginning I felt welcomed into a family-oriented environment where care and compassion were at the center of everything. Bill, the owner, was present on a daily basis and consistently made the effort to connect with clients. His dedication set the tone for the entire program. What makes The Source stand out is the individualized treatment approach. My recovery plan was specifically tailored to my needs, which made a tremendous difference in my progress. During my time in PHP and IOP the staff provided constant support and guidance. Bill also went above and beyond to help me transition into sober living, which was a critical step in building my foundation for long-term recovery. Today I am several months clean and living full-time in Fort Lauderdale. I am deeply grateful for the role The Source played in my journey. I just graduated my program at the source. What an amazing opportunity it has given me at a solid foundation for my sobriety. When I came in my daughters weren’t speaking to me and my relationship with them was broken. But through the intense work that I have done there through the trauma therapy and talk therapy our relationship has been restored. I am sober happy and free. Faith Farm saved my life! I came in 3 years ago at the end of my rope. I was exhausted from holding on to resentment and addiction. I was tired of hurt myself and everyone I love and I was suffering from schizoaffective disorder. They seem really friendly, Christian like. Then if you decide to leave, which they say you can Walk out the door anytime, your free to go whenever you want. But, they forget to tell you, you can't take your thing's with. Your important things, like Your identification, phone, important paperwork and so on.
