About ASIC Recovery Services
For many people with drug and alcohol addiction the best path to recovery is to have a step down recovery journey. They start with a more intensive level of care and then gradually step down their treatment intensity to transition into living an independent sober life. ASIC Recovery Services is a rehab in Fort Worth, Texas, that can give you this step down model.
You’d probably start with the partial hospitalization program here. In this program you’ll live at home or in a sober living facility but you’ll come to the treatment center for hours of treatment each day. In the case of this rehab you’ll have 5 hours of treatment, 5 days a week. You’ll spend those hours getting individual and group therapy as well as addiction education and psychiatric care. There’s recreational therapy.
After you complete your PHP you’ll probably transition into either the sober living facility at this rehab or into outpatient care. These are both a step down but in different ways. It’s a structured place where you’ll have recovery support while you start establishing your life after addiction like getting a job and finding a permanent home if necessary. With outpatient treatment you live at home and come to the treatment center a few hours a week for therapy.
The benefit of this model is that you can stay with the same rehab throughout each stage of your treatment and clients say that this makes a huge difference. Clients here feel such a genuine connection to the staff and call this rehab a lasting and life changing experience.
Levels of Care
Outpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
