I would give 5 stars to the therapists and Paras that worked there, but the company itself, just NO. Family member was with this location for over 11 years and constantly (for the last 5 years) had issues with getting appointments, getting medication, getting the right medication, when the right (stable) medication was found then a new doctor would come in and change everything. They had a severe lack of communication and note taking. Some notes on patients were getting "erased" from the system even. The therapists and Paras never knew what was going on in or with the office. It just kept getting worse until one day family member had an appointment (the doctor sent the wrong med prescription) and called THE NEXT DAY and the phones were cut off. The therapist and Paras had no idea what was going on and just kept getting the runaround. The business just shut down with no warning to Clients or employees. Clients were offered ZERO solutions. Now records cannot be gotten to go to another place even.

My son has been going her for almost 3 years and at first things was great but when Covid happened things went down hill with staff. You call and no one never answer. You Finally get someone on the phone and they tell you anything to just get you off the phone and never follow up. I have been waiting on medical form to be sign for over 3 months. This is one of the reasons why mental health is where it s at right now because of agencies like this don t care and can t be honest. If you can t give service then referral the patients to someone who can. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you take your case or family members case serious and want to get proper help this is not the place.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Mental health and substance abuse treatment are integrated to meet the needs of people with co-occurring disorders. Recovery is seen as a process involving stages of change. As a person moves through the different stages of change, ongoing assessment and updated treatment planning continues to ensure appropriate and most effective interventions for the individual to recovery.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

OWNER A.C VERY RUDE HUNG UP ON ME because she had people in front of her CLEARLY SHORT STAFFED.. The worst I have EVER DEALT WITH this office never answers their phone so if you miss an appointment or need to reschedule you are OUT OF LUCK unless someone from the office calls you and thats EVEN IF YOU LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. Then they tell you that you should have tried calling when I have called 5 or 6 times in a day... Only has a Doctor Avalible 1 day a week and sometimes less than that. Past few times they didnt have my daughters info on file to rewrite the SAME 2 prescriptions she has been given the past 6 months every 30 days from this office. Therapists are seemingly ok Doctors change very often. This office is just ridiculous misplaces paperwork I made a request for my daughters diagnosis in september and it is now FEB and i am STILL REQUESTING IT.... IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDS MENTAL WELL BEING DONOT GO TO THIS OFF. They are full of neglect for the patient. Im not sure how they are even still open.

We apologize for any misunderstanding or unfavorable experiences you have had with our agency. On the occasion you spoke with the owner, she did have another call come in. The owner asked if she could place you hold, and also asked for an updated phone number so she could call you back and speak at length to make sure you were given the attention you deserve. Unfortunately, the call dropped when the other line was answered. You were not able to provide that number or arrange for a call back. For that we apologize, although unsure of exact reason for drop, we are certain it was not a hang-up on the part of the owner. Events and life situations happen to all of us and in looking at your appointment history, you did have several no-show on your part, for both a therapist and doctor. These things happen, but it is our responsibility to ensure that you are adhering to necessary appointments that are critical to our triage of how medications are working and what services, in addition, to medication would help improve your daughter s overall health. This is particularly important with a child as young as your daughter. Your child was actually discharged from the agency prior month. It is obvious that, as the mother, your child s care is your utmost concern. We would welcome a scheduled appointment for your daughter to complete an intake where we could complete services, but it is important that you make every effort to complete those appointments. Should you not want to continue with us, we will do what is necessary to help you get that care, or we would gladly help with a referral and coordination of care and medical records with the new provider of your choosing.

They literally dont pay staff and send emails demanding they make contact with people who do not need or want that contact. The company gets more than $100/hr for each contact and dont pay staff. Where that money go???

This office has gone down hill since I started bringing my son here. They don't call to set up an appointment they just automatically make one for you and call you two days before hand to confirm your appointment that you didnt even know you had. You also have to wait for hours to be seen by anyone other then the nurse. I recommend that you do not come to this office. I will be changing as soon as I find someone else to take my son.
