I was always intimidated to go here or any counseling period. I showed up on an emergency type situation without going into details. I showed up as a walk in early in the morning went through the process and was told I would have an appt in two weeks. The young lady at the desk seemed quite concerned when I asked if there was anyone I could talk to or a crisis number she immediately got me with a gentleman that talked to me and got me into a safe secure place where I couldn t harm myself. I was started on medication and am now going to weekly counseling sessions. My therapist is amazing so easy to talk to and set goals with. My meds are helping me so much. My life is already turning around I feel like I can see light trying to break through from the very dark depression tunnel. With the help I m receiving here and my faith I hope to win this battle once again. I m very thankful for the guidance center. And everyone there.
