One of the best decisions I ever made was going to Rivendell. I went inpatient first and it helped a lot. Everyone treated me with kindness and care. After about 7 days I started the outpatient program. I looked forward to going every day. I learned so much about myself. Marla is the therapist and she is wonderful. Rachel is the RN. She is also a kind and caring person and Dr. Street the psychiatrist I can't say enough about him. He truly cares about his patients. I wish I could still go but it's time for me to go out in this world and use the tools I have learned in rehab. If I ever feel like I need help again I won't hesitate to go back to Rivendell.

Wow, I have been to VA's all across the country, and I'll have to admit I was a bit skeptical coming to VA North Little Rock. However, my experience here far exceeded my experiences of ANY VA I have been to and I was treated SO great! Nurse Connie was the sweetest Nurse I have ever had! I was helicoptered in on Saturday and it is now Wednesday. From the ER doctor/staff, surgeon Dr Paul, all the nurses I had for #442, the meals, OR/ER staff, social services, even housekeeping have been so professional and caring. I do have to mention one lead nurse on the overnight shift. Horrible with names but I am sure everyone will know who I am talking about. Her knowledge, confidence in that knowledge, compassion and just being a great person was the best I have seen in any public field in my lifetime.
