Marne has been a Godsend and I honestly don't know where I would be without her and the team. I have been going through a lot I've been in pain management, I've been to rehab, I've been to prison. I know that not everyone is built the same or seen the same things or experienced the same experiences. But, the people who can just keep an open mind and not judge someone for the first thing they see or the way that someone has lived before all of this. I know I'm no better or different then anyone. I just need help and am so thankful for you guys. And we have good and bad days like everyone else. I hope for the best for any and all of these workers here. The Dr. Is cool too just explain the total truth and they will understand the situation. I know the truth isn't always easy but they will understand. Just try to remember your in a safe environment and they are there to help.

Soba significantly helped me improve my life. I'm thankful their phone lines were open and that Travis was able to help me get in there. It was around 10pm when I called. The night I got to Soba I was put at ease by the openness, friendliness, and caring nature of the staff. Specifically the resident assistant and the nurse, Dean and Kelsey, respectfully. There are a LOT of things I do not remember from that night because of the state that I was in, but I will never forget them. Thanks to Soba's medical detox I was able to sleep well that night. Due to complications from alcohol, quality sleep was something that had eluded me for weeks if not months before treatment. So that was a HUGE relief.Six years before Soba I had been through another treatment program. And although I am very appreciative of that program and everything they did for me, there are some huge differences between that program and Soba. At Soba I had access to a nursing staff 24/7. They were there to help with whatever I needed. The peace of mind that came with that was invaluable. Withdrawing from drugs and alcohol can be pure hell, I know. Sometimes very dangerous. But at Soba, I was able to actually have a safe and comfortable withdrawal experience.Another perk was that I was able to keep my phone with me the whole time. I was in disbelief when I found out that was allowed. Being able to stay in touch with my family and my girlfriend was one factor that influenced me to stay for thirty days as opposed to just going through detox (which, by the way, I would recommend everyone stay as long as they can). I was even able to go off-site one day when a family member of mine was dealing with a medical situation. At Soba I had access to food and snacks anytime I wanted. There is a chef there throughout the week that makes a lot of great food. I was able to have hot showers with towels and toiletries provided by Soba. When I got there I arrived with only a couple sets of clothes. But thankfully I was allowed visitations with family and friends on the weekends and they were able to bring me whatever else I needed.I also got a lot out of the groups at Soba. The "nine-to-five" schedule consisted mostly of groups led by staff members, counselors, and case workers. The groups were relevant. A lot of the times they were fun. The groups are more focused on getting to the root of our issues. None of the groups were hyper religion-focused. If you want to incorporate religion into your recovery at Soba, that is 100% fine, but they do not force anything like that on anyone. After the groups we would go to the gym for an hour. The gym was followed by dinner. Throughout the course of each day there were several long breaks as well. The weekend schedule is similar, but there were usually a couple leisurely, off-site activities involved like bowling and the movies.I could go on and on about my pretty amazing experience with Soba. It's been about fifty days since I walked through their doors and my life is better today than it has been in a long time. Years. On a daily basis, I'm working closely with a sponsor that I met through Soba. I attend meetings on a regular basis. I even still attend meetings at Soba two nights a week at their "alumni meeting" and through an "H&I meeting" I participate in. I can't thank Soba enough for helping free myself from the vicious cycle of addiction.

My son is Autistic and I 100% recommend La Frontera Apache Junction for Behavioral Health Case Management (BHCM). My son has had the same struggles for 8 years. He was diagnosed autistic in 2021. I fought so hard for resources on my own and all I found were waiting lists and frustration until my son was inpatient at PCH for the 2nd time. They introduced us to BHCS that was helpful, but lacking in many ways. We were in crisis and found La Frontera in Apache Junction. It was life changing. We were fortunate to have Jennifer Andino assigned to our high needs case. With Jennifer and my son s team, I felt like we moved mountains in 6 weeks. After years of struggles, we found a path to solution in 6 weeks. It still blows my mind. We accomplished what seemed impossible. I am beyond thankful. Not only do they provide a case manager for the patient, but they also provide a family support partner to be there for the family. When my son s care was at a crucial state, the supervisor was on every call.If you or your loved one are not getting the resources you need, I highly recommend La Frontera Apache Junction.I cannot thank Jennifer Andino enough for her strength, knowledge, and relentlessness. We are all in a safer situation because of her.

Unique approach- the focus is walking forward . Trail Walkers and Staff are very genuine and treat the youth in their care with kindness and always looking to build upon their seeds of greatness . Many of the trail guides attended this program as a troubled teen in their youth- which was a testament to me that it was a quality program that participants found helpful in moving forward with their life- so they now want to help someone else do the same.
