ANR Clinic - Advanced Opioid Treatment

About ANR Clinic – Advanced Opioid Treatment

ANR Clinic’s Advanced Opioid Treatment is located in Tampa, Florida. This is an outpatient treatment drug rehab facility that uses a scientific approach to recovery. They work with adults who need support for their opioid use struggles. This facility is run by an addiction recovery specialist, Dr. Waismann, and his support staff.

Dr. Waismann is the pioneer of the recovery approach, Accelerated Neuro-Regulation (ANR) This therapy treats opioid dependence and the withdrawal symptoms that are associated with detox. The aim of this approach is to help regulate an individual’s central nervous system by encouraging it to resume normal endorphin production. Treatment is judgment free, compassionate, and treats the root cause of opioid dependency.

This recovery approach is broken into four steps. You’ll first be admitted into the facility where lab work and prep work will take place. You’ll undergo sedation so that you can navigate withdrawal symptoms without having to feel the pain associated with your withdrawal symptoms. The next stage of the recovery process happens after the sedation has worn off four to five hours later.

You’ll then be discharged from the facility. This usually happens a day later. After discharge, your stabilization monitoring will begin. You will come into the facility and will work with your care team to assess your stabilization and your overall recovery.

Recovery education will take place during this time, and you’ll learn about the importance of continuing physical activity and maintaining a proper diet. Optimization follow-ups will take place to ensure you are still on the right path to recovery.

This treatment approach is unique because the regulation of a recovering individual’s endorphin receptor system is one of the newer approaches to care and can offer promising results.

There is no connection between ANR and your after care in the hospital. I feel I have to start with this because the ANR staff at least seems to care. When you wake up, you are greeted with a tired , late night hospital staff that is extremely rarely available. You are not given an alert button or contact of any sort. If you yell loud enough, as I unfortunately had to do because I could not breathe and was suffering, you are barley even greeted and the staff does not listen and does not want to be there. Aside from the complete misery and suffering of extreme withdrawals (I remind you, their main pitch is spend 20,000 amd you WON'T have any withdrawals) well...mine were worse than any I had experienced before...but back to my point...these after care hospital employees at Desoto Memorial hospital honestly could have cared less. Before I signed anything. I told the ANR nurse that my biggest fear was waking up with agonizing withdrawals. She looked me in the eyes, told me she would be there, and would NEVER let that happen...THATS WHEN I SIGNED THE TREATMENT RELEASE!! When I woke up, I'm extremely withdrawals, as I had feared...the nurse that had convinced me to sign the agrewas no where to be found. Instead...I had to literally yell to get a nurse in...and they could not have cares less. At this point, yeah, the withdrawals were horrible...however, my biggest issue was that I was gasping for air and could not breathe. I use a CPAP machine. I did bring nose spray with me...which they said would raise my blood pressure...understood...however...I also brought another full faced mask with me...which I BEGGED for multiple times...there was no doctor reachable and the would not change the mask. This was after the 30min it took me to get someone in the room. I suffered for hours...like I never have before. Then ..right on the time dot that the hospital was told "it was time for us to leave" ...I was forced into the shower..falling several times...then forced out of the hospital (if that's what you want to call it) ...and I WAS IN NO CONDITION TO LEAVE!! I was given Clonozopam to help with withdrawals...I withdrawals and puked all over my hotel room (which they force you to stay at) for several days... I was then forces to the airport...on benzos and suffering... barley made it home. When I finally saw my doctor, they were appaled at the procedure and treatment. I ended up back on zubsolve with very little choice. My blood pressure was through the roof and I was sent from the hospital, and home, in a condition that nearly killed me. I NEVER heard from the CEO or any major players in the company despite this horrible experience. The one time I did hear from the after care doctor...there were no apologies...questions...etc...other than a completely judgmental statement saying "Oh, so you are back on opiates" ...I desperately explanation the condition I was sent home in left me very little choice. This was a COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DANGEROUS HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE THAT COST $20,000!!! IF THERE IS AN ATTORNEY OUT THERE THAT WANTS THE CASE, IM ALL IN...100% NEGLIGENCE

Horrible and expensive experience! Friendly before and at check but treat everyone the same. Tried to explain underlying health issue but they don't care and assume your only problem is chemical dependency causing the problems. It is not in Tampa Florida but a tiny town an hour away with only a couple hotels. When you stay the hotels know why your there cause there is nothing in that area! After treatment forget any help. If you can get a return call the answer is just give it a few more days. Your on your own. Remember its expensive with no guaranty. Not saying it wont help someone but do your do diligence and be ware!

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient rehabs encompass multiple levels of care to facilitate clients' progress through their recovery journey. Clients who are stepping down from inpatient treatment may require intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, which involves more frequent and substantive therapeutic interventions than does standard outpatient care. Outpatient centers typically provide extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment programs (MAT) and recovery-focused life skills training are also common in outpatient care.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

This place....... Honestly didn't know what to expect when I signed up. I had looked into them for over a year. You want an honest to God review like the one I needed to see. I've been on opiates since 16. I'm 33 now. Well as addictions do over the past 16 years the dose went up and up and up. I was staring to buy 100 pills(Pressed) every 2-3 days. Now when I read it I think ok some guy has been using a bit and can't stop. I consumed so many just to wake up, just to function and to sleep. It was almost like having a predator shadowing your true self. Now nolone to talk about myself but I believe I'm a pretty straight up guy, would help most people if crossed paths, but having this, like living in a shadow of your self. Your you, just altered in a way in which now you can't quit or everything will fall down......... Sorry this review is for ANR IN FLORIDA. Just wanted to give some background for compression. They talk to you in a way that made me so comfortable. Would never normally call and talk to sometime about my problem but this place is different. Had the procedure SEP/17/24. HAVE Never been this many days without a thought of taking a handful of pills. It's still early and I got some work to do on myself but now I can. This will TRANSPORT you right past all of it. The only work you have to do is take care of yourself properly. Good diet [was a little challenging for me at first, was really difficult to feel hunger], exercise. Thank you to The Doctor and nurses for not only getting me through something I didn't know you could honestly really leave but for being compassionate. If you feel you tried, and can't get through it, this is the only place to come. And with all things do your research.LIFE NOTE - Probably would not have made it without these guys. Wish me luck on my travels,5

I want to express my deepest gratitude to ANR Clinic for helping my family member from Florida to overcome a challenging battle with opioid dependence. He was prescribed Suboxone after an accident, which helped him manage the pain, but over time, it became a burden that was difficult to escape. Despite several attempts to reduce the dependence, nothing seemed to work until we found ANR Clinic.Thank you to the dedicated team of professionals at ANR Clinic for providing a safe, effective, and compassionate solution during such a critical time in our lives. Your work is truly life-changing.

ANR, there are no words to describe how thankful I am for you guys! Your whole team, doctors, nurses, and patient advocate! As well as the hospital staff that the ANR facility is located in. I wish I could put my story out but that ll be to long. To sum it all up, I tried everything to get off opioids. Rehabs, doing it myself, NA meetings. Nothing worked. After leaving rehab, sure you might be physically fine but there is always that strong urge telling you that you want to use. I didn t want to get put on Suboxone because that is also an opioid. That concept didn t make sense to me so I lost a lot of hope that this is how I ll be. My Moms friend told her about ANR and then the word came to me. I researched into it so much, watched the videos explaining what the actual problem is and it all made sense. At the NA meeting we re called addicts, but after understanding how your brain s endorphin system works it made so much sense that it s a medical illness dependency, much different from addiction. I felt that this was the only way back to my normal life. After the procedure for a few days was rough. After all your body is going through a lot during the procedure so that will happen. It s been about 2 since I got my procedure done and I have not had a single desire to use opioids. The Naltrexone medication REALLY WORKS. I ve been able to go 2 weeks without use sure, but I was having cravings pretty much every day until I gave in. This is a very different but amazing way to get off opioids. A way that really works! I believe that ANR should be nationwide due to the fact that we are loosing people every day to opioids, good people.Thankyou ANR!

Incredible and compassionate staff. Every single person I spoke with from Admin to the medical team were so kind and allow you to come in balanced out. Not in withdrawal. I was given some medication to help me relax. I slept some and may have even been asleep when the procedure began. I literally slept through all the opiate purge and was so weak and groggy from six hours of anesthesia I believe i slept the rest of that night. The next morning the brain fog lifts considerably but I was surprised at how weak I felt. They said I would be but I m not sure I ve ever felt that weak. Before I left the hospital they explained how to go about restoring strength and energy level. The first week is pretty rough but not once did I experience any withdrawals nor did I crave for any opiates then or anytime over the past 5 weeks since my procedure. Most people are able to return to work and regular routine the following week. I was given a plan to follow explaining how to trigger our natural endorphins which help increase energy levels as we gradually regain strength and have energy level returns to normal. I was sent home with a non-addictive medication to take daily for approximately one year. The way it was described to me is our natural endorphins can only fill so many receptors and naltrexone takes care of the rest. Then - after approximately one year - the excess receptors that grew while I d been dependent on opiates, would begin to atrophy away restoring the endorphin : receptor balance back to its natural ratio. Once that happens - again, they said around a year - I ll no longer need to take naltrexone. I m a long way from the one year mark but I have 100% trust in what the medical team has told me. Everything I ve experienced throughout these past five weeks was exactly what I was told to expect. The only challenging time is that first week following the procedure. A team member came to the hotel the first three days I believe - I slept alot initially - to evaluate and then reassured me that once I was able to go outside for a walk I d feel much better. For me it was day 3 I was able to go for a swim and a walk. By the end of the week I was able to make the 12 hour return trip without having to stop overnight. I felt fine. The next morning after waking up at home I felt I had backslid. Once we thought it through and the supervising nurse Cindy confirmed our suspicion. By the way, Cindy is incredible and went above and beyond ensuring I had support for the expected and the unexpected. No matter what I needed, she was there to support me and my wife with whatever support we needed to make it through that challenging first week and continue supporting us in the weeks after returning home. My mind and body just went through a major event. Not only was I out building back my strength and endorphins, my mind and body was still adjusting to not having opiates circulating the bloodstream. I had pushed too much driving 12 hours straight. My mind and body both were relearning/rewiring itself back to normal. I learned not to overdo things initially. Cindy told me most people seem to be back to 100% around week 3 and thats when I really felt the best and now that Ive started exercising again i hope to continue to improve. I would absolutely go through the ANR procedure again. Having that burden out of my life is life changing.

I recently went to the ANR facility in Arcadia , Florida, not knowing what to expect. All I knew is I needed an out quick, after being addicted to fentanyl for three years and losing all those I loved from lack of acknowledgement, my life as I knew it and my job were gone. To be completely honest I thought it was going to be a sham. Who and how could someone clean me up in one night. It wasn't a possibility. The next morning I woke up in a medical bed in a dream slowing coming out of the anesthesia. After being awake for a few hours it finally dawned on me , I hadn't had a withdraw craving any major withdraw symptoms and no thoughts of when my next fix was coming . It wasn't a sham , it was an epiphany. Why aren't these operations more widespread and well known. The worst part was two days after i felt slightly weak and was barely able to eat but still no drug thoughts or needs. They wrung me out like a clean towel in one night and it's been the best thing I've ever done. You will recover if you do it , might not feel like a million bucks for a couple days but there's no lingering addiction whatsoever. Right now I'm on my way home day 6 since the surgery and every few hours I feel more and more like the person I was before I had ever done any drugs. Quit thinking about it and schedule yours today and when you go through with it you'll know that everything you've just read is an 100% understatement of how much better your going to be after just that first night.

Be careful this isn t for everyone I DID THIS PROCEDURE IT DID NOT WORK! Im 33, I ve been on subutex for around 10 years, did this procedures it cost $17,000 cash upfront, I was SO sick after the procedure and I waited days it wasn t getting better, when I got home I died twice, thank God I m even here to tell the story. I went back on Subutex, so I can live a somewhat normal life. Just be careful, they make it sound like it s fail proof, but I ve never felt so sick before in my life.. between the anesthesia, the pills they give you to make you not crave anything makes you sick (naltrexone in picture), and you still go through major detox symptoms THIS DOES NOT ELIMATE DETOXING, including depression, sensitivity to cold, no sleep, can t eat, use the bathroom, can barely walk, etc. I had support from family, I wasn t working a job, low stress, but I felt deathly ill after this, so it did not work and I d like to think I gave it my all. It is not completely their fault, there s great people running this program, but the people guiding you through this, should have had to have gone through this procedure to understand the depth of the struggle, I wanted this to work so badly, I still hate these pills, and I ve heard success stories but beware $17,000 is a lot of money to gamble and it makes you feel like a failure.. there s no 2nd chance, if the procedure doesn t work you re on your own.

I found ANR accidentally trying to look up a rapid detox and was surprisingly shocked! I couldn t believe this was a real option, I can t even begin to think of the amount of times I had thought to myself I wish I could just go back in time to before I ever even did opiates never thinking it could be possible because you can t go back in time with ANR, it IS possible to reset your opiate receptors! Set them back to what they were like before I ever did opiates or was addicted to heroin or fentanyl or methadone or any other opioid. I read everything I could on the research and financing options. I was determined to make this happen somehow. I brought it up with my parents who have struggled with me for 12 years and my mom said we are going to make this happen for you the next day, by some miracle, my grandparents who aren t even involved in my life at all, had known nothing about any of my struggles over the last 12 years, kept it in the dark because of how embarrassing it is, were told everything I had been through and decided to pay for the whole procedure in full!!!!! I could NOT BELIEVE IT! Something I never even thought was possible, found out it WAS POSSIBLE (for an extreme amount), FOUND the financing, contacted the place and had an appointment set in the next 48 hours!!!! After speaking with the DRs and going along the their recommendations and vitamins, I had my procedure scheduled for the next 3 weeks. I live in Clearwater, so luckily for me I only had to drive an hr & a half to the hospital where they do ANR. Everything was so convenient! The team was amazing & still is! They were there for any questions me or my family had. They kept in contact with me (still have). The day of the procedure my parents took me, I was asleep for 6 hours, woke up & asked when are we going to start!? To find out it was already over! It was the night of the procedure, I had just woken up. I was still very sleepy, I hardly remember anything besides getting moved to a room and going to the bathroom. I was back in the hotel the next day with absolutely no energy. But it is exactly like they say, every single hour I could feel myself getting better. Showers and baths definitely helped. It s hard to drink a lot but you want to keep fluids down or you might have to go get more fluids (like I had to). But after I had no withdrawal symptoms at all except extreme fatigue. My legs ached and eyes watered, I had some sneezing but that is all. If you have been through withdrawals, I would say it was the most MILD symptoms of withdrawals I had ever experienced if you could even compare the two. They say recovery is about 10 days, which I found to be very accurate. On the 10th day I had more energy than any other day. It is now day 19 and I am 100% recovered, I have been back to work, I have moved, I can do life again! I can function again! The first 4 days I woke up freaking out thinking oh my god I have to get to the clinic! Or where is my methadone!? I m going to be sick! To realize I was completely fine in my own bed NOT withdrawing, not sick, healed. It took a lot of energy those first 10 days but after that it has been a breeze. I can not begin to express how different life feels. I can t remember a time where I wasn t worried about feeling alright. Now I just wake up and drink coffee like a normal person!!! I have no thoughts of using or urges. I am in counseling and still attend meetings but I KNOW I will NOT use again and I am confident in myself for once because of the chance ANR gave me!!!! I have told as many people about this as I have been able to, and will continue to do so. If you even THINK you might want this done, LOOK INTO IT! TALK TO THEM! THEY WILL FIND A WAY FOR YOU TO GET IT IF YOU QUALIFY! They WANT to HELP you! I am PROOF it works. I started using when I was 18 & just celebrated my 30th birthday 100% opiate free! I still can t believe this is real & that I had the opportunity to have it done! If there was a bigger word than thankful, I am beyond happy with the results. They are changing life s!

Hi, my name is Brandy Crisoles. I am a recent graduate of the anr clinic procedure and I'm here to give you a little bit of information about me. I started off. Using opiates just for a simple car accident. And then another car accident happened 6 months later, and that accident led to me finding a pain management. Doctor who prescribed me all kinds of pain medications from Roxy codon 30 mg. To xanax to methodone to valuim. and also soma. I Was not educated by any of the pain management. Doctors who treated me throughout my accidents nor my permanent pain. Management Doctor about the consequences of taking opiates. I was not educated on how it would completely and utterly change my life for the worse andwhat this dependency to these medications would be So there starts my story of dependency on opiates . So from 2007 till 7/22/24 I was dependent on opiates doing anything and everything. I could to get them whenever I would run out. The situation became worse and I just needed more and more. And I would do anything to get them. Liecheat steel. Do things that were absolutely horrible. I hurt my husband a lot. I stole from him. I lied to him. I kept secrets from him. I hurt him very, very bad and I almost lost him including almost losing my life. I was given medicine irresponsibly by doctors who are being complacent and not educating their patients and not practicing good medicine. And the end result is that I've gone through so many. Rehab so many detoxes try to do it by myself and I couldn't. I just could not get past the withdrawal, the only. The only people that saved my life were Doctor Waisman and the staff at ANR. and because of Doctor Waismann's method. I am now free of my dependency from opioids and I am getting back to my better self. So many people need this treatment, this treatment should not be just an elective. People misjudge this Clinic too much And think that they only cater to this is not their mission. Doctor Wiseman's mission is to get as much information out about this procedure about this treatment. Definitely cure those people people who are in need and not being looked after. Doctor Wiseman's method at the ANR has been proven. He saved my life Doctor Wiseman saved my life just like he is saved over. Almost 30000 people. The word needs to get out to legislation. And we need to start advocating for those who don't have a voice Or.Are being turned away. Think of all the help that we could give those if the legislation would pump even half as much money as they do into these rehabs and methadone clinics that don't work that all you are is just a number. It's like literally being a piece of cattle being led to its death these drugs. Are not meant to fix. They kill they destroy your body. They , you lose every thing you ever hold dear. So please listen to my story and believe me. When I say that I am a changed person. Drug-free completely cured of my dependency. I am no longer defind by anything. I have that choice to do what I want to do to define myself. And that's what everybody should have. Insurance should be allowed to cover this treatment. We have an epidemic in this country that is just getting worse and worse and legislation is doing nothing but pumping more money into something that is just killing people, instead of being committed to doing the wrong thing. Do the right thing and invest in the cure that will help bring this epidemic to its knees forever. Grateful that I have my life back. Thank you to the A-and-R clinic. And thank you to Doctor Wiseman for constant dedication And Compassion In curing those who desperately need You and this treatment
