About Alliance Wellness Clinic

Alliance Wellness Clinic in Bloomington, Minnesota, is an addiction treatment center for adult men and women aged 18 and older who are experiencing opioid use dependence. They provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) and addiction counseling. They have convenient hours Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with dosing hours from 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

Bloomington is a culturally diverse community that embraces people from all backgrounds. There’s an inclusive and supportive environment for recovery. At the clinic everyone is welcomed into a judgment free space where they’re treated with respect and understanding. Many clients share that their experience here has been warm and supportive, with staff going above and beyond to create a comfortable recovery environment.

Paying for treatment is simple. They accept MN Medical Assistance MHP and several other state health plans including UCare and BlueCross BlueShield. They also work with most private insurance providers. Clients have the option to pay with debit and credit cards and either cash or checks.

Getting admitted is also easy. Everyone starts with an assessment which is an important first step in figuring out the best treatment. The assessment looks at how severe the situation is and helps find the right care. It’s also how you can find out if you qualify for financial help to pay for treatment.

Not all MAT programs offer both Suboxone and methadone, but Alliance Wellness Clinic does. Suboxone is often a good fit when you’re in early recovery. Methadone can be more helpful for people with a longer history of addiction or who need more ongoing support. Since the MAT program and their other services are personalized to fit each client’s unique situation your treatment could take anywhere from one to two years.

Individual counseling is an important part of recovery. All clients meet with a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) for extra support during treatment. You might need a little more comprehensive help, so the clinic offers trauma informed mental health counseling and outpatient treatment at their sister clinic located right in the same building.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

This is a moneymaking scheme by the owner. As a former client, here is your day. You get woken up at 6 AM. Hard knocks. No problem. You get driven to the Center where you have treatment for 6 hours. Then you get driven back home, unless another client in your car wants to go elsewhere. That's the catch. You have no freedom. You are essentially in prison. Prison Rehab.I understand this is a facility for Somalis. We can do better. Don't go to this place. Because they'll take every dollar and ask you to be grateful for their efforts.PS: Also they will call your family without your consent, asking for money. Funny trick. Something about Eid. Speaks for itself.

I was mind blown at how welcoming this facility is, i was a homeless from prison, they help me get housing, as immigrant, they helped me get my green card renewed, they helped me find the job and mental health services are great! Counselors and therapists are really amazing, shoutouts to the owner Yusuf, fardowsa, sharon, cece and others. I highly recommend it to Rwandese people who struggle with addiction and mental health issues. While I was in the treatment, they offered me opportunity to get IT training in cybersecurity and they help you navigate through the process of education and finish your degree in case you dropped out of college like me.

I needed an outpatient facility that would be easy to get to and also work with my life's responsibilities and I found it here at Alliance Wellness Center! The staff are there for you to answer any questions and you can count on the highest level of care without judgement. The client base is a diverse group of people that can learn from each other to maintain sobriety through individual recovery.
