About All Points North Lodge

All Points North Lodge is a luxury residential addiction treatment center set among the stunning Rockies in Edwards, Colorado. They have a detox program, an inpatient program, a partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient programs for adults over the age of 18. They specialize in treating mental health disorders, addiction and trauma.

Their programs typically last for 30 days or longer. If you need to detox before starting their residential program, they offer medically assisted withdrawal management services. This keeps detox safe and as comfortable as possible.

During the residential program you’ll attend therapy sessions and use techniques like dialectical behavior therapy, psychoeducation and cognitive behavioral therapy. They also facilitate process groups and family therapy. Every type of session tackles addiction from a new perspective, ensuring you take a well rounded approach to recovery. You can attend group fitness classes or personal training sessions, massages, chiropractic appointments and physical therapy sessions. These activities contribute to your whole body health, ensuring you’re strong in mind and body.

They also offer several nontraditional therapies for you to use as part of your treatment. These include ketamine assisted therapy, which combines talk therapy with carefully monitored exposure to ketamine. Because ketamine inhibits a receptor in your brain that helps to regulate your mood, some people are able to process difficult emotions more easily when under the effects of the substance.

They also offer deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (DTMS) treatments and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). DTMS involves stimulating nerve cells in the brain, and HBOT involves exposure to high levels of oxygen to speed up your body’s natural healing process.

I was at APN for almost 3 months. It s an amazing place for healing. The only downside is the entitle of the rich people. Which isn t their problem diss that why I still give 5 stars. When I got there I was amazed and appreciative of the gratitude and hospitality. But then id mingle (which is outside of my comfort zone) and it was complaint city. Everyone always complained about Katie- my therapist. I genuinely enjoyed her. She was real- educated and insightful. They complained about the staff not being their servants. They complained about Donna in insurance/business office.(who I really liked. She is Native American and as am I- and she had animals coming to her window at every day- a sign of strength and character). I would go back. I should go back. It s such a nice place. I just don t understand why everyone complained so much.

I traveled to Colorado because APN had great reviews on line and advertised inpatient ketamine treatment. I arrived at APN Lodge early afternoon on Friday. My belongings were taken away and I was told they would be searching for items I could use to harm myself. They did such a great job searching, that they left razor blades in my bag that was in my possession. Your personnel had no idea if I was suicidal or not! I had severe depression and I could have easily harmed myself and had a horrible outcome. Leaving me with razor blades was such an incredible oversight. In addition, not one person ever came to check on me. I was alone in a room by myself. I was told I would have a roommate "Ava" but she never showed up.I was told several times by the intake coordinator that he wasn't happy that he was called in on a Friday afternoon/evening to assess a patient. I was shown my room and told it was dinner time. I was left alone to find my way in a strange facility. I was told that I would have a tour of the facility the next morning but that never happened. I asked several CSA's about the tour and they promised they would do it later.Saturday morning I woke up at 4 am since I am on Eastern time here in Pennsylvania. I had a panic attack because I couldn't figure out where or how to get to the nurse's station. I was so overwhelmed and crying. I found a doorbell camera and waited more than 5 minutes for someone to come and show me where I could get help. The first morning group I was to attend on Saturday was cancelled because the counselor never showed up. I had no idea of activities or anything or where I could go because I never had a tour. Therefore, I remained alone in my room until 3pm. I attended the afternoon group which consisted of patients listening to each other's favorite music. Still, no introductions to anything. This occurred again on Sunday - no counselor - no group. I suffer from severe social anxiety which prevented me from walking into the main room (after searching for it). It was a terrifying experience for me. The groups of people there all seemed to be friendly with each other already.I had issues with the nurses regarding giving me my meds. My body was on Eastern time and I requested receiving my medication based on what I was used to. I spoke to the NP but nothing was done. I truly felt invisible by this time. A few nights I didn't even receive my medications because I could not stay awake. If I woke up after the "allotted med time" and requested my medication, I was told I couldn't have it.I had one meeting with the psychiatrist who was going to make changes to my medications. I was told I had to see the medical doctor and have labs prior to beginning my new prescriptions. I never saw a doctor, had a physical or had any lab work done. I inquired about the ketamine treatment and was given the run around on more than one occasion. I was receiving ketamine here in Pennsylvania and was hoping to continue with the treatment at APN. I was told that I might have a virtual visit with a doctor but that they couldn't confirm that. At this point, I was getting very angry with the unacceptable treatment given to me.I spoke with TJ, my case manager on Tuesday morning regarding leaving APN. He told me that he couldn't meet with me but if I want to leave that I could and I was on my own. He handed me a piece of paper, that I have attached, naming hotels, taxis and gas stations I could use in the area. I had no idea where I was! I was so disappointed and upset that I packed my things and left immediately. To say that APN provides the treatment they advertise is completely false. I paid over $13,000 to come to APN for 4 days and left with a gas station list for Edwards, CO. This experience was absolutely unacceptable to say the least! I presented there to get help and treatment as your website boasts and didn't receive help in any way. My review on Google and Yelp will not be recommending your facility.

I went to APN due to severe repressed trauma that came bubbling to the surface making me highly suicidal. In simply terms... APN saved my life. I spent 55 days inpatient and it completely changed my life. That was a year and a half ago and I STILL keep APN and everything I learned close to my heart. I highly suggest APN to literally any and every one I know struggling with their mental health. They changed my life and I am eternally grateful.

I m at APNL going on week three of my 30 day stay. My experience is one of holistic healing, mentally and physically. I am here for bipolar 1 and alcohol. The staff is stacked with highly educated professionals who challenge you with care, guidance, and kindness. Amenities of the lodge are 5 star. The setting in Edwards CO is spectacular. I will always regard APNL as a home that heals not only the mind but the heart.
