He was very nice and polite to all the patients and he was very uplifting to me and Everyone around him and he also cleaned up after us where other pct s just sat in the area where the Nurses were and some even were so rude and would even provoke patients. The Nursing Staff for the most part was kind and caring. Of course you have a few that are A holes but that s to be expected anywhere you go! The Doctors were also nice and came around once a day.

    Mikaela Parker
Adolescent unitHonestly and truly an excellent hospital with very great staff. I have had other experiences at other hospitals but this hospital is at the top of my list. For the month that I was admitted, it felt like everyday I was getting better mentally. Although the usual stay is 2 weeks, I ended being there longer than planned and I am not complaining. The hospital itself was somewhat clean, had a cool janitor who loves to sing (SHOUTOUT TO MR. BILLY), and despise the fact that there were hairs waxed into the floors, janitors were always in sight and were always cleaning. The cafe was really nice, had a great view of the mountains as well as the city, and had wonderful lunchroom staff. edit: the lobby and the cafe are catfish (not what they seem to be), its not terrible but i would recommend asking for a tour before admitting a patientBefore I begin saying what I have to say about the staff, shoutout to Mr. Jeff (Tech) , Mrs. Bridgett (Tech), Mr. Donovan (School teacher/coach), Mr. Mark (music teacher), Nurse Arica, and Ms. Audrey (Therapist that helped me through it all). The staff is unfortunately why there is a star missing from my rating. I, myself, experience really bad anxiety and I get overwhelmed pretty easily if there is too much commotion going on and whenever this would happen, all I needed was for the staff to listen. I understand that we cannot be in our rooms all the time because it is very draining but when were asking to go constantly because we just need a minute, we really need it (trust me, i dont wanna go in a room with only beds and shelves just for fun). Staff wouldnt really solve much conflict well either but I guess that just shows the fact that you only need a high school diploma to work here so ill move on from that. A lot of the people on the unit would argue and the unit ranges from 11-18 year olds so you could only imagine the lovely drama that would happen and would be solved simply by the messy techs that wouldnt do much about it but gossip. If the techs werent being messy about the patients they would sit there and just gossip either to the patients or the other staff about their personal drama. Although it seems like im using this as a way to diss the staff, I really did appreciate the staff that would take matters into their hands when there was stuff going on in the unit (MS. SHANA!!). When youre recieving your treatment, youre constantly reminded to focus on your treatment but when the few i listed are the main ones even doing anything, it makes your stay feel soo much longer. Anyways, love the staff that was mentioned but honestly if you werent listed, I most certainly hope you work on whatevr the heck you got going on fr, because i noticed everything...

I called to make an appointment to see Drew. The receptionist was so rude. She said he didn't work there. Then asked me for my zip code. Very rude lady. She did transfer me to his VM, though.I gave it one star. But I've added to this review months later and give them 5 stars!!!!!Update 8/2023...I got a call from Drew several months ago and he was very helpful and nice.JBS has helped a friend of mine that was homeless. They helped her get her own apartment, furnished. Without them, she would still be on the streets.JBS helped her get all types of medical care and they pay for her all of her medicines. They provide their clients with transportation to any grocery store to shop, twice a month. They have excellent therapists and counselors.Jbs has many resources for their clients.I should not have posted a review based on the receptionist. Maybe she was having a bad day.I would definitely recommend anyone to JBS. They are very caring and helpful.I saw a counselor with JBS over 25 years ago, when she was at First Light . She was so caring and helpful. (Robin)If you want or need some help....I recommend JBS 100%!!!
