Every one of them wanted to over-medicate me which made me very over sedated to the point where I couldn't function. Someone recommended Mountain View and I went there and it's been 20 years now and I'm stable. That place has saved my life. So for anybody that puts a negative review for Mountain View there must be a personal issue because I can't see that happening. The staff is great. I've seen one specific doctor for the past 15 years and he's the most empathetic doctor that I've ever met in my life. He cares about what's going on he doesn't overmedicate. And he is so patient and he listens and he really cares and you don't find doctors like that anymore and the psychiatric category anyway. Most doctors want to overmedicate to the person just doesn't feel anything anymore. They don't want to diagnose certain disorders because they don't want to deal with them all you have to do is research. If you go in not liking the place you're not going to like it. That goes for any facility. But it's a really good place. I know this to be true. I would say try some of the most popular for hospitals in Birmingham and in Huntsville or wherever and then come back and do a review.

I have been to hospitals in Birmingham in Huntsville and I called us the name brand Hospital. Every one of them wanted to over-medicate me which made me very over sedated to the point where I couldn't function. Someone recommended Mountain View and I went there and it's been 20 years now and I'm stable. That place has saved my life.
