We are a recovery-oriented system of care thoughtfully designed to meet your needs for substance abuse rescue and freedom from addictions. First, we have an intensive outpatient component that uses the latest brain science to create a 12 step alternative that unloads the baggage of the past, reframes the behaviors and thinking of the present, and offers hope for a successful future. Second, and just as important, we have a robust recovery support program that includes 1 on 1 mentoring; classes that promote emotional strength, relational connection, and spiritual health; individual and group support; accountability; and aftercare. Third, made possible by the benevolence of a partnering church, we have accommodation for housing, meals and transportation. This creates a complete package, 120 day program that gives you an amazing array of services and treatments, in an excellent environment. At our price point, you won’t find a better value or a stronger program anywhere.”

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Dean played hundreds of mind games on me to trick me into an artificial psychosis that Elon Musk was putting me through.I was lied to by all the staff, and I wouldn't even recommend taking my dog to them, to say the least.

Through personal experience with the healing modality, Access Breathwork and integration within my emerging spiritual framework, I can't thank AIM Recovery Center enough for sponsoring the Access Breathwork workshop. I look forward to the next publicly available session.

Attended Access Breathwork session put on by Dean Simms the Clinical Director at AIM Recovery Center at their facility in Dickenson. They are using it as part of their core treatment program. I am not in their program but heard about this aspect of their unique protocol that is a 12-Step Alternative based in brain science and spirituality. I had an opportunity to try it recently and will definitely be attending another session. Dean did a great job of preparing us for the experience and took good care of the group during without influencing it in any way. Thanks!

Dean has been extremely helpful in my recovery. He has an approach that is unlike any other counselor I have had, and I have had a lot. It was his approach which included a healthy blend of science and spirituality that helped set the stage for my jump into real recovery. His counseling style includes helping a client get to the core issues of why they use or drink or indulge in undesirable behaviors and habits. To do this, he includes meditation and breath work and it all ties into learning how to manage emotions. To bring this all together, Dean uses integrates science into his counseling style which is extremely grounding. If you or your family member need a fresh perspective in the recovery world, give Dean a chance, he won't let you down.Source: personal experience with Dean's services, and living a clean, sober, manageable and productive life.
