Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs support clients' long-term recovery through a robust continuum of care aligned with clients' evolving needs. Many programs feature transitional services for clients stepping down from intensive inpatient care. Ambulatory medical detox is also available in some outpatient facilities for clients at low risk for withdrawal complications. Outpatient treatment centers typically encompass multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), supportive housing, and standard outpatient programming.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Clients undergoing treatment at an inpatient rehab receive intensive clinical supervision and robust therapeutic support. Clients remain at the facility for the duration of their program, allowing them to focus on their recovery free of outside distractions, stressors, and triggers. Most inpatient programs offer addiction counseling as their primary treatment modality. This often includes group and family therapy in addition to individual counseling. Many centers also provide complementary therapies and recovery-focused life skills training.

aftercare iconAftercare

Clients who are leaving detox or intensive inpatient care often transition into a rehab aftercare program. Outpatient treatment is among the most common rehab aftercare services, but clients often continue to receive support long after being discharged from formal treatment. Clients' long-term care plans are highly individualized and designed to evolve with the clients' changing needs. Case managers and care teams typically work with the client to design their unique care strategy.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug addiction causes psychological and physical damage through repeated and uncontrollable use of substances. Drug rehab in West Virginia focuses on providing a full continuum of care, from detox to aftercare, and treatment can take place in outpatient or inpatient settings, based on your needs.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. I m just going to list the practices I went through here and things I saw.First upon arrival you must sign all kinds of documents stating you won t sue them. That should be the first red flag. They also will not allow you to take any mind altering medication which includes anxiety meds or Tylenol pmYou are not allowed to speak to anyone for at least two weeks. They give you a bus ticket if you want to go home that is pre paid for (more on that in a min). There is also a process if you want to leave and you still are Not allowed to call anyone more than once for a ride. At least thats what happened to me. They got my ride to turn around once. Denied phones calls from my husband even though he was on my call list. After about 6 hours I realized I was in a draconian style establishment where if you took to much ketchup you had to eat it with a spoon. They had 18 beds I think I remember and only two girl s. A third joined late that night and by morning both her and I decided this place was bizarre to say the least. So we both opted for our bus ticket. The ticket wasn t good until 6am the next morning but they made us leave at 4pm the day prior. They dropped us a town or two away I m not too sure why when we passed a bus station closer. Anyway this is where it gets real crazy. So not only could I not have my dr prescription anxiety meds the girl who was dropped off with me ended up having a seizure in the sheets parking lot he dropped us off in. The ambulance came and went and a stranger sheets and ihop helped me get my ride home and a place to stay where it was warm. Cuz it was winter. Also worth noting while I was waiting to leave for my bus still at the facility they put me in the basement all day with nothing to do as like a punishment for wanting to leave. They even fed me in the basement. The hostility was seriously increased after I officially signed myself out.I can count the number of negative reviews I ve ever bothered to write on one hand. I m not a Believer in pointing out the negative but this place is not good. If your expecting therapy of any kind except for religious affirmations you will be dissatisfied. Also I just feel like what they charge for the services and the donations they receive have the facility itself in immaculate or OCD in my opinion. I could go on about the materials they gave these girls to obsessively clean with but I think you get the picture. They basically have a staff for their families on call all day. And if I m not mistaken they have a second house. I find it interesting they live so well when their cause is supposed to be such a humbling one.

No counseling for trauma or addiction is provided. You are forbidden to speak about your past life, and are expected to have a new one from entry and bury away your old problems. A typical day was making your bed with a specific crease fold that they would inspect and often critique, doing an assigned job, and about an hour after every meal sitting on the floor to read a pocket Bible, and in the evening a service and sometimes one of the counselors would speak. The jobs you could have were auto shop, working in the kitchen, or working the grounds. I was given auto shop as a job thinking I would learn something about car repair. Instead each day we were given a different counselors car to detail and no matter how good we did they always told us you missed a spot which we were expected to clean extra. you couldn't call home at all for a few months after you get there, and even once you are allowed to you only get one 10-minute phone call a month. It's been quite some time since I've been there, and I have managed to stay clean off opiates and have a wonderful life. I needed to address my past issues and deal with my problems head-on, not bury them and forget about them and pretend they never existed. I went to another treatment center and learned to deal with my issues in a way that doesn't require using drugs. I have done speaking to prisoners, children, and adults in rehab and outpatient treatment. Someone was referred to me for advice on what to do with her son, and had mentioned Team Challenge. I told her that although I am a Christian, I would not recommend this place at all. That conversation made me revisit my awful experience and feel the need to warn anyone checking reviews.
