book iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

prescription iconDrug Addiction

When you enter drug rehab in Nevada, you receive professional assistance to remove drugs from your body and cease your body's need for the substance. You learn coping strategies and receive support to prevent relapse and enjoy long-term sobriety.

prescription-bottle-pill iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

file-medical iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

clipboard-medical iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

The counselors were understanding, empathetic, professional and educated. I learned so much at this program, and thanks to their support I can continue my life with a sobriety commitment.

This is the worst treatment center. Any other clinic is better than this clinic. If you’re looking for help I suggest you look somewhere else!

if you would have asked me in my prior times trying to go here i would have left a bad review. but this around my experience with this clinic has been better than any clinic ive been too. i finally have an amazing an understanding conselour. and as far as the other staff, theyve gone far past my expectations to feel like they care. this is a safe place for me. i can always count on the security gaurd to help me with any outside issues that ive had to deal with. hes been like an angel in disguise.ive realized that until you get connected with a conselour that actually listens and understands your daily problems you face then youre never going to get the help you need. im just grateful i finally found that here. im beyond grateful for this clinic

The Addelson Clinic was the first methadone clinic I ever went to. For the first time in my life I found something to make the pain go away. I didn t need heroin any more. If you are struggling to find a way out, I highly recommend methadone as your treatment of choice. It will save your life. HOWEVER, I cannot in good conscience recommend you attend this clinic. This clinic is funded by the state and if you know anything about government run facilities they are usually horrible places. The counselors here are so rude. Especially the fat white lady I think her name is Bridgett. She treats you like a drug addict and belittles you at every opportunity. If she doesn t agree with you, you will be told even tho the hippocrite weighs more than an elephant. If you smoke weed forget about ever earning any take homes. If they don t like you forget about ever being treated like a human being. Their policies are outdated. One slip up - violation of policies- and they will refuse service without due notice, causing you to relapse, overdose, and die. It happened to me. One day I was at clinic having a bad day and I was sick. Got in a argument with a crack head in the parking lot. Next day they kicked me out and refused me my dose. Anyone on methadone knows how bad that it. Took me over a week to find a new clinic. Money, fees, time, paperwork, doctors meetings, had to start my dose over at 40mgs when I needed 100. Needless to say I reloaded hard. Overdosed and ended up in the hospital. Until that point I had been clean and sober for 2 years. I lost my job during this event with the clinic cuz of my relapse and drug use I was now unemployed again. Everything I worked so hard to fix this clinic ruined. GO TO DESERT TREATMENT OR HENDERSON COMPREHENSIVE. They will treat you right. Plus you can smoke weed at these clinics and they will give you take homes. The addelson clinic will call you a drug addict. I could keep rambling on and on forever. But as a methadone user who s life has been saved byMethadone. Don t waste your time here. There s others places. DESERT TREATMENT CLINIC OR HENDERSON COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER. Google them.

This is by far one of the best clinics Ive been to, I didnt like my counselor very much but the rest of the staff is extremely nice especially Brittany and the security guard. I did have an issue with them once or twice but since then the other clinic I have been going to has been doing nothing except telling me to be there earlier to speak to my counselor but then they tell me in the same breath that I actually dont have a counselor right now. I would very much like to go to back to Adelson and am considering it.

I noticed they manage to pay to delete their negative reviews. Horrific people. Went here for one day and it was one of the worst human interactions of my life. There are 2 other clinic choices. Go to those

Dont go here. We went for 4 years and just left and we feel like we escaped North Korea. They treat you great at first but then youre treated like a junkie. Find anywhere else to go if youre serious about being sober.

I moved out of state partly to get sober. I switched to adelson frm another clinic and paid almost $500. I signed up for insurance but yesterday they conveniently couldn t find it and wanted me to pay. Adelson Clinic failed me. I have now failed in my goal of sobriety cuz I couldn t pay at the time, of no choice of my own. Now I will say that they were originally gonna keep me at a dose that wasn t high enough to keep me well and the director I believe her title is, scheduled an apt with the dr to help me get to the dose I m supposed to b at 2 wks earlier than I would have. Maybe she would have helped me yesterday too Idk. The security guard is cool as hell. Other than that this place seems like a $$ grab. Idk if it looks like I got money, maybe it s the way I dress but I m tired of being taken advantage of because of my appearance and because I m a girl. Yes, I m a girl. No, I m definitely not dumb. Then they won t let u call ur insurance to give them the insurance #. It s against policy to be on the phone inside the bldg ( I was in a private one person bathroom) well if I woulda taken that phone call outside where my roommate was waiting for me he woulda heard aaallll my information and business. I kinda wanna keep my stuff private. Which means this Google review is so important that this clinic makes some changes. You guys have made sobriety harder than addiction, more expensive than addiction and impossible. There s never a line at your clinic and I wonder how many people have truly been successful.

I have been in Vegas for 30 years and been on EVERY clinic in Vegas. Been on the Koolade for 27 years. And Adelsons is by far the quickest compassionate clinic ever. Unless you are still running and gunning, forget about it. Keep doing what youre doing.
