This place is amazing. The staff genuinely cares about your recovery and your personal wrll being. I have never been to a facility that goes above and beyond everyday to pour into the clients. I have been to several facilities over the past 12 years and Recovery Unplugged is the first one thus far that focuses on the underlying issues that lead to substance use, alcoholism, and addiction in the first place. Everywhere else that I have ever been wants to teach repeating classes on the brain chemistry and effects of drug use, relapse prevention, and codependency. All of those are useful, yes. But all of those are useless unless you address what got you there in the first place. I could go on forever but I will leave it at that. Oh and the food is AMAZING 😋

Probably the most important experience I'll ever have in my life because at Cumberland Heights they were able to teach me enough and convince me that my problem was real and addiction is a disease of the mind. This is the longest I've been completely sober since I started using 20 years ago and its all thanks to the in depth explanation of everything I learned at Cumberland Heights. Can't thank them enough.

Journey Pure's outpatient center in Knoxville is a fantastic option for IOP. The staff are so kind and caring and really supportive of your recovery. The providers are knowledgeable and extremely helpful in filling and adjusting MAT/psych/general medications. The therapists and group leaders are wonderful and understanding of any situation and they show so much love. I highly recommend this center for IOP for anyone in recovery.

I’ve been to English Mountain Recovery twice. It is by far the Best recovery program I’ve been to. I’ve been clean 13 months now I Loved it there cause the staff is incredible. The counselor’s are amazing. I had a great experience when I was there, everybody was like family they treated us great like we belong. I would recommend this program to anybody that is struggling and needs help. I really appreciate all the help I got from EMR. Thank you so much.🥰❤️🙏

English mountain is honestly the best rehab I've ever been to. I'm now currently at new hope but I miss my English mountain facilitators soooo much. As well as my therapist, corey. I'm ngl, I wish I was still there instead of new hope because I actually felt like I was getting so much out of the classes and from my therapist. Thomas and corey absolutely deserve pay raises LOL love those dudes. Anyways, thank you so much to everyone there. I just turned 4 months sober a couple days ago and it's all thanks to English mountain, as well as myself.

This is a great facility and I feel like it saved my life from alcoholism. This is the first time I feel like I can do this. If you do the work, go to the meetings and take your recovery seriously, you can stay sober. If you stay in your room and do not participate in your recovery, that is in no way a reflection of EMR. Best experience ever and I feel set free as I continue to work on myself.

Recently my sister attended a 16 day Onsite Workshop for trauma. She recently lost her adult son, my nephew to suicide. It is difficult to put into words the profound positive effect Onsite has had on my sister. Pryor to going to onsite she was going to therapy and was active in a parent suicide support group. She continued to struggle daily. When I saw my sister after she attended the workshop, "it was as though I was seeing my 12 year old sister for the first time in 40 years". The care and concern the team showed for me and my sister made a marked impact on our experience. I am truly grateful to Miles and the Onsite team

Did an individual intensive here that was at the same time as a Living Centered workshop, so I did some activities with that group as well as being able to focus on some deep healing work. I had an incredible time, it was much more powerful than I expected. I did see the benefit of doing one of the group workshops, and hope to attend one in the future! The people at Onsite are truly remarkable, I will be forever grateful to the experiences they provide. I truly believe the work they’re doing has the power to change the world.

It was amazing. I just want to say any one just getting out of a life you wouldn't wish for your kids or any other human. I definitely recommend starting at journey pure. They are very laid back. You are allowed to smoke and they keep a close eye on you while your going threw detox. They definitely make you as comfortable as possible. I have just graduated from this program today. And what I have to say is, I am so grateful for Provive wellness, they have been apart of the programs that have saved my life. If it wasn’t for me talking to Tracy and getting information, idk that I would have choose the program. Coming out of residential treatment I was scared to start all over again. But she walked me through all of the steps and her kindness settled my fear. And on day one clients were so welcoming and Cameron, the group facilitar and therapist, was so warm and welcoming. The way he thinks and the way he puts perspective out there was so impactful. My therapist Elisha, was so gentle with me and lead groups as well. (This account is my husband’s) When I say Willow Ridge saved my life, it’s an understatement. Everyone that works there is devoted to every individual’s needs, comfort, and improvement. I got my life back because of willow and I’m thankful every single day. I will ALWAYS recommend Willow to others looking for help and know they are in great care. Jenny, the director is such a loving and caring woman that really goes above and beyond for her patients and her employees. All of the techs and the therapist got me through the hardest parts of my life and helped to pull me out of a black hole I never thought I could escape. I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025. It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program. The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative. Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen. I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery . The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise. The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience. Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage. It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me . The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7. All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety. They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together. Samaritan also has full Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady. Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan. I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs. And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library. Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit. My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff. If your curious how it happened - My story went like this…. I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery. .

My name is Matt I completed the 28 day residential program on December 11th. Of this year (2024) and I must say it has been an amazing impact in my life and my early recovery, the staff there are amazing brandi, Amy,April thad, Donnie Brittany, Angelica ,beth ,terran, ( if im spelling it correctly lol) beth Gary and my counselor Patrick were all amazing, understanding, and above all they actually cared about each and every client. They are all very good people and are in recovery as well , they made my time there very easy and I cannot express my appreciation for all of them .. so long story short ,yes they have rules and structure but it's for your own benefit. I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have been send to jacoa in Jackson it truly saved my life .so thank you all! They always said that we do more for them than we can ever understand,but I think they are doing more for us as clients that we will never be able to repay them for . Thank you jacoa for all the love , advice , and for caring about each client that comes through the doors. I came in to JACOA in May of 2023. I had been thru SOME SHIT. To say the least. And I needed some help and guidance on how not only to better myself, but HEAL myself. And I tell you what. JACOA did that. Am I a completely healed human? Nope. Do I credit them for everything I've accomplished this far? Yes. Because THEY gave me the tools I needed. Every one of them. From the head honcho, down to the monitors every night taking us for chill breaks. I love them, to the core. Beth was an amazing counselor, and the rest of the counselors were awesome too. Kudos to a really great staff. To elaborate? They taught me how to handle my anxiety and my stress. Without booze. Without weed. Just myself. Learning to live sober, was probably one of the best adventures I've lived so far. Because that, was wild. I read ten books in 28 days. I hadn't picked up a book since my mother died, nearly 9 years prior. And I was an avid reader. I begged for the library keys, and eventually, I didn't have to beg. I was given them, because I proved I was responsible and could handle a door. It takes one door at a time, sometimes. And hey, the food wasn't too bad either!

JACOA was so amazing I went there twice!! I had been a chronic relapse for 20 years and the last treatment center I ever had Tn go to was JACOA!! That says a lot about who they are as a substance abuse program. The staff met me where I was in my journey with compassion and kindness ,because most of them had their own personal story of recovery. They got me! They really understood me!! They went above and beyond quarterbacking my care all the way to safe housing when I graduated the program. If you or a loved one are suffering with alcohol or substance abuse issues call JACOA! They will take care of you! PS.They have Fish Fry Fridays!! Just saying 😉!! Good food matters!! They have great food and unlimited coffee!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Iris Wellness. From first contact after hours on a weekend, to accepting my son for treatment even before we had payment worked out, to working with my insurance to get everything covered in-network when they were technically out of network to the fantastic intensive outpatient services. I have seen a dramatic difference in my son from, mood, attitude and overall life goals. He has always enjoyed going and has never once complained. In this time when soo many Of VA facilities are frequently criticized, this location deserves Positive Recognition!!!!!!(on behalf of my brother,a client for over 20 years).

The female doctor that I had there was amazing

This for people who have been on narcotics too long, rather legally or not. This place is for people who eventually want to quit narcotics, safety, and be reintroduced back into society as a functional, normal way of living.

This place has gone way down hill. I have been a patient for over 6 years. The Dr’s, Counselors and staff are very nice and I thought that they all actually cared about patients until today’s interactions. Oh and the wait times are getting ridiculous. My last appointment took almost 2 hours. Then today I needed to have a Tele-health visit because my radiator in my car needed replacing. I live over an hour away from my clinic. I have called 4 times since yesterday and still no one has returned my calls. I am always on time for appointments, take meds as prescribed. Don’t cause issues. Today has made me feel very uncared about. *** I wanted to do an edit to say that things have gotten so much better the last few months. I really appreciate the changes they have made and wanted people to know.

The therapists there are GREAT! The medical staff are at the very least equally as great; especially Rebecca! :) Very welcoming environment everyone is helpful. I felt the love as soon as I showed up. Clinical therapy here was exactly what I never would have thought I need in my life. Thanks guys

All to often great service is overlooked. Corrina, a professional driver for Harmony Oaks Recovery Center came to pick me up from Landmark Recovery in a Crazy Clean Chrysler. On arrival, Corrina was very helpful even going out of her way to ensure maximum comfort. Before the wheel started rolling an enthusiastic Corrina offered cold soft drinks aswel as a variety of snacks. I Give her service a 10 out of 10. Not once did I feel nervous. I hope this message finds the right person. Thank you so much Corrina . My 3-hour ride was filled with laughter, deep heartfelt conversations and peace of mind. I wish more people were trained to transport as well as treat people the way I was treated. Great experience.

I really enjoyed being here. I was scared to go to rehab but I have had a very positive experience. The staff is amazing, the food is good, and their resources are incredibly helpful. This really is an amazing place to go for your recovery!

I can't say enough good things about Knoxville Recovery Center. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for by everyone here—but I especially want to recognize David Moore. David was incredibly attentive and compassionate, always making sure I felt heard and supported every step of the way. He truly went out of his way to help me get back on the right path and made my recovery feel possible. The staff at KRC care deeply about each person’s success, and the positive, supportive environment made a world of difference for me.
