This place has been a magical, healing, life changing experience. I have struggled with addiction to serious drugs for over 20 years. I also struggle with mental health. I have been to 11 different treatment facilities. Some of them really good. This place blew them all out of the water. The setting is phenomenal. It’s located on 70+ acres of the most beautiful mountain setting that Mass has to offer. The sunrises are breathtaking. It’s like an enchanted forest. The bunnies and chipmunks and baby dear are adorable and amazing. I stayed in the ‘poets’, these amazing, spacious log cabins with cathedral ceilings. When I walked in the first time I cried in gratitude. The beds are comfy, you have plenty of privacy, and it’s a space I would stay at on vacation. The food is top notch. I don’t think I was served a single bad meal. The head cook, Matt, is so accommodating. It feels like home. You always have the option of a delicious salad bar, leftovers are available until 11 at night. I couldn’t asked to be better taken care of. Most of the RS staff are in recovery which is amazing. They are the most devoted caring staff I have ever had the privilege of knowing. And you do get to know them, their personal struggles and victories, they give you hope that this is possible. They were inspirational. Thank you to all of you: Chris, Justin, Lisa, Owen, Jess, Andrew, Steve, Brandon, Tim, Courtney, Moe, Ryan, Pete, Greg, Alina, Mark, Jamie. I hope I didn’t forget anyone. And of course I can’t forget the RS supervisor, John, who does an amazing job managing an amazing staff. You guys never ignored me, constantly asked how I was doing, and knew me well enough to know when I was down. I didn’t have a single request that wasn’t immediately dealt with in a kind way. Down to wanting printouts of watercolor painting ideas. I got ridiculous. Thank you. The classes were also amazing. We had groups six hours a day including women’s groups and process groups. I really thought that as much treatment as I have received that there was nothing left to learn. This place disabused me of that notion. Sarah’s groups were always fun and informative, plus she’s the best Clinician I’ve ever had. Thank you! Marcus, the family counselor, was like an injection of hope. He also does amazing family sessions. The man is a miracle worker. All of the case managers and clinicians are amazing. My case manager, Kelley, along with Sarah, helped me to set up aftercare that included IOP, a recovery coach, primary care appointments, MAT and psychiatry appointments, they helped my come up with a relapse prevention plan, deleted and block all dangerous contacts on my phone, disable my Facebook account, etc etc. I have never felt so prepared to go back to the real world. The executive director, Colleen, knows every patient by name, knows what your going through, and interacts with everyone on a regular basis. The nursing staff is also top notch. Headed by Kayla, they do a tremendous job. My favorite nurse was Scott but every one of them was endlessly available and truly stupendous. My needs were met in a timely and empathetic way. I was made to be comfortable and I’m so grateful. Then the clients, I don’t know what it is but the quality of client was truly wonderful. Everyone looked out for eachother, everyone was determined to grow and learn as much as possible. We had so much fun playing games, doing karaoke, riding horses, playing corn home and ping pong, hanging out at the fire making s’mores. It was truly like adult summer camp that saved my life and gave me the tools I needed to go out into the world and thrive. I cannot say enough about this place and it’s wonderful people it’s wonderful setting. I am forever grateful in a way I cannot express here.

Some of The counselors there are EXCEPTIONAL. Rob, Mike, and Peter really made a HUGE impact on my recovery. They are true believers in their groups. Sharing their personal coping skills relating to their sobriety which was detrimental in finding my own. True inspirations on how to be sober and stay sober. Great groups and authenticity to their work. They shared from their heart. They kept each and everyone involved and inspired. Some of the nursing staff were very attentive and helpful as well. Kim, Joe, sue, and Ben were ones that stood out to the most. Kim was caring and truly cared about each patients needs and feelings. The RSS’s were great as well. Calee, joann, Leslay, and Niana were all great to deal with. Calee went above and beyond for everyone in my unit. She would put the patient first before anything else which was very thoughtful of her in a situation that is not easy for most. I have been to RCA Danvers and I can say my experience at Westminster was much more therapeutic and beneficial to my recovery. Sincerely, Jason Dewar

I appreciate the excellent care that was provided to my family member by the caring staff. The staff made my family member feel comfortable along with activities and the groups that were led and provided by multiple workers . Excellent establishment and also the care coordination that they assisted with in regards to follow up care and post d/c transition was exceptional. This facility should be noted for anyone who has a family struggling or patient seeking assistance with help. I have so many staff members that were so supportive to my family member. Especially whom was Peter Gregory whom per her report did groups and was the Best. Thanks again for making a realistic difference.

Being a client at Paramount Recovery Centers, makes me feel dignified and like I have hope. The staff here are absolutely amazing and are willing to go to any length to help in any way they can. From the BHT's to the therapist even going all the way to the top. Everyone who works here has everyone's best interest at heart and it shows with every interaction you'll have. All in all I'd highly recommend PRC to anyone who struggles with substance abuse or mental health.

Paramount recovery centers has literally saved my life, when it came to recovery I was uncertain and afraid, but ever since the first day I set foot in this place I felt like part of a family and have been led through a powerful process of change! I was on the brink of losing everything due to my addiction, but with the love and care I have received here I've learned how to change my negative thought processes and keep my urges at a far distance! It is not said lightly that this wonderful facility has allowed me to keep my life, including my family, my job, and everything I hold dear. So a huge shout out to all the staff here and everyone who has personally been an endearing part of my recovery, im grateful for all of you! I don't feel alone in my recovery anymore and for the first time in a long time I can wake up and feel.the joy of hope and healing in my heart and soul!

My time at Paramount has been amazing. Since day one I've been given the most amount of support I could ask for. Haley made my intake process smooth and stressless and she's always made herself available when ever I needed anything or just someone to talk to. My Case Manager Nia did all the heavy lifting with obtaining my EBT card and cash assistance. Everyone here made me feel safe, and understood without judgement. I truely feel I can stay sober with the tools I've been given here.

Love my psychiatrist I've been working with with psych drs since I was 6 for my anxiety and since I left my Dr from 6 to 14, I've been searching for a psychiatrist who understands me and I adore her I blab to her and she understands me this is the best especially with the refill line oh it's a life saver

My experience at Serenity has been life changing and just incredible. The love and support I received from the staff during my detox and CSS is just incomparable to anything. Lindsey && Taylor && JJ are exceptional women who work so hard to help you with anything you need and make sure everything outside is in order so you can focus on yourself and your sobriety and it makes such a world of difference. Jonathan, Jessica, Nevaeh, Andrea & Brooke are the sweetest most wonderful humans and offer so much love and support. No matter who you are or what you struggle with the staff at serenity make you feel home. This has been a life altering experience for me I feel so lucky & blessed to have had it. Ashley & Val & work so tirelessly to make sure that you don’t leave here unprepared. The nurses and providers helped me find the medication I needed. And Maria is just a ray of sunshine. I’ll never forget any of the people I met here. <3 The food is phenomenal. The rooms are so cozy. I couldn’t imagine getting well anywhere else <3

Great place great community, great staff, all around great experience

Swift River is amazing! It is truly and amazing experience. Its definitely one of a kind. From the very minute you arrive til the time you leave you you are under the best care imaginable. The staff are incredible and you no right away it's all about healing and recovering with all of them. Nursing, counselors, therapists, case management, kitchen, House keeping, BHT's are all on the very top of what they do. The campus is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and up to date. Its college campus like and never feel locked in at all. They offer many different types of recovery classes and do not single out any one way. They offer many different options recreational wise as well. 9 hole disc golf course is my favorite. They provide multiple avenues of further treatment all done with your own case manager. Also, an amazing Alumni group with all kinds of stuff going on to keep you connected to people in recovery. Thanks Swift for all that you do.

Best residential rehab -and hopefully the last- I've attended so far. Patients are giving more personal autonomy and respect and they have much better programming. The outside campus is amazing. Art room and Music room are open during the afternoon. The ropes course was closed sadly but everything else was great including the food.

I started my recovery on October 26, 2021 in drug addiction. I had put myself into detox and they had her originally sent me to another place for IOP. Needless to say that didn’t work out for very long. It wasn’t a good fit so, I requested a different facility. By the grace of God I found Aftermath in December of 2021. At this time in my life, I had low self-esteem and literally hated myself for the things I had done. I barely have any contact with family, and I was dealing with all the trauma from my past. The very first day at Aftermath I knew this was the place for me. The owner Matt and my counselor Nikki and the rest of the staff made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I was very shy at first but, I was able to open up quicker than I thought would ever happen. By the time my insurance wouldn’t cover anymore of the treatment ,I was still on a deferred disposition through the courts and Matt was willing to let me stay until it was completed which might’ve been another six months or so without getting any pay. Without this program, I don’t think I would’ve succeeded. October 26, 2026 will be four years. Thank you to everybody at Aftermath for everything you have done. I love you all 💙💙

Honestly best treatment center I’ve been to. Everyone is very welcoming and down to earth. I like all the staff they have become like family to me and I love them all. 10/10

They are the best!!!

I am so grateful for the help I received at RCA in Danvers. I went to the 30 day inpatient program and then to the IOP when I got out and spent 3 months gradually transitioning out of IOP into the real world again. The facility itself is beautiful and the staff is great. There was councilor Charlie in Unit 1 inpatient who was great at helping with what path of recovery we wanted to take individually. And the therapists and the IOP were amazing. Matt especially seemed to do his job with his hope that we would all be successful with our recovery. He is dedicated to his job and gives great insight and recommendations on how to achieve our goals. Keira was also extremely helpful with helping each of the patients with transportation, insurance issues and scheduling. Going to RCA was the best decision I have ever made!

RCA has been absolutely amazing helping me in my recovery! I wish I came to treatment here years ago. The facility is more like a resort than a treatment center and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. They engage with us during groups and all times of the day which I found very helpful. The people here really care about helping people and that means the world to people like me. I would 100 percent recommend anyone struggling with substance abuse visit RCA it will without a doubt help you in your recovery journey.

I received all the tools to succeed in this thing called recovery!

I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious. So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them. I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are. Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down. That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder. Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can’t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don’t live close by anymore but I’d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

Coming up on 5 years and I couldn't have done it without this place forever grateful

Was in their care for seven weeks. Advanced through various stages at three different facilities. Sober for nearly a year now from both alcohol and benzodiazepines.

Successfully completed IOP treatment with Ethan Green as my therapist. He was an amazing source of empowerment and strength in my recovery journey, his down to earth and human approach shatters any hesitation anyone may have to get treatment. I truly recommend this treatment center.

I was lucky enough to have found out about this facility in February of 2025. Words can not even describe how amazing the staff! My first night there was extremely hard for me and Petra was absolutely amazing ! I wanted to leave , I didn't feel good and she was able to calm me down and keep me there. My case worker Nicole was the best! I felt like she truly cared and wanted to help me get thru my time at the facility and she helped me set up outpatient care so that when I left Mayflower I was all set with good resources. This place was the beginning of redemption story and gave me a phenomenal foundation to start my recovery journey!

My first impression of Mayflower was an amazing. I felt so comfortable with the staff immediately, they made me feel so welcomed and supportive. The staff was unbelievably knowledgeable in addition. I felt safe and well taken care of. My room was first class with my own TV. The food was cooked by a chef and was unbelievable. I was most impressed with the Director of the program. He did a morning group everyday to address any concerns we may have and to impress how he was there to help the clients. Very professional and comfortable at the same time. 10 out of 10. The best in Massachusetts if not the North East.

Rockland Recovery gave me more than treatment—they gave me hope and a new beginning. From the first day, I felt respected and understood. Woburn Wellness has been a big part of my recovery journey. The staff was great and the meetings were really helpful and informative. They took the time to listen and help with different situations that came up in my personal life. I also really liked the mix of topics and activities. I've been able to maintain sobriety and now have a plan for long-term success.

What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. There are recovery centers out there doing good work and recovery centers doing great work. This place is doing phenomenal work. They help people make lasting changes in their lives. Thank you all!

This is a wonderful detox and treatment center! They will get you sober and give you the tools and resources that you’ll need to stay sober. Kind, caring, knowledgeable people (Case Managers, Recovery Specialists, nurses, food service staff, cleaning staff), nice, clean facilities, good food! Couldn’t ask for more. The folks at NERC truly care about you and your recovery. Special shout-out to Case Managers Sara, Tara, Brittany, Grace and Diana, as well as Recovery Specialists Pam, Gretchen, Danny, Nikki, Nikyrah, Esmeralda, Lauren, and all others whom I haven’t mentioned by name. Rose is an amazing family therapist. There are a lot of great, caring folks working here who truly want to help you! They also offer free, confidential family support through their Magnolia program. I highly recommend New England Recovery Center for detox and Clinical Stabilization Service (CSS).

Unfortunately I have been here a few times, but they were always welcoming and compassionate about it. They have some really great staff. The food is decent for the most part, there is plenty of it. The groups were good over all. Obviously some were more relative than others. Overall I would recommend NERC to a friend or relative.

Nicole is a fantastic therapist.She was very efficient and very personable. Very knowledgeable on mental health issues and extremely nice.She went above and beyond what she even had to do. This place is a better place because she is here Bedrock has the best employees and I would recommend anyone here because of them !!!

A truly amazing place staffed with kind, caring, wonderful, professional, fun, generous, thoughtful, and highly-skilled staff (I could go on) who are experts in ED recovery. My therapist at Laurel Hill is by far the best therapist I have ever had — I learned so much from her and am still in awe of how she challenged me and ED narratives. The clinical director treats clients like family and invests her time and energy into each and every one of us — she spent her Christmas holiday with clients baking cookies, enjoying holiday kareoke, and other festivities that she planned for us… it was a special holiday, filled with so much love and support. The nursing staff are SO cool and kind. The RCs are absolutely the best.. I don’t know how they do such a specialized and demanding job and do it SO well, all while getting to become so close with the clients. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone struggling with an eating disorder. I had lost hope when I entered treatment, and now I look forward to the day when I can say I am fully recovered, because thanks to the LH team, I know that day will come.

I can't even begin to express my gratitude towards Monte Nido and especially the staff. Coming to residential at Monte Nido truly saved my life and I don't believe that I would be here today if I didn't go here.
