Coming to Jaywalker was a pivotal turning point in my journey to recovery from substance abuse. I admitted to this program reluctant and broken, not knowing if treatment could help me live a life of fulfillment and freedom from addiction. Jaywalker taught me that community and connection could free me from the desperate cycle of addiction that I felt trapped in. The program focuses on a community based approach to recovery. During the program, I went on activity expeditions, played golf on beautiful courses in the area, competed in pickleball tournaments, and hiked a 14er. The Jaywalker Counselors and Staff are there with you and by your side 24/7 to work with you in all facets of your life. The friends I’ve made at Jaywalker are friends I’ll have the rest of my life. I’m proud to say that I just celebrated my 1st year of Sobriety, and I’m forever grateful what Jaywalker has done for me to help me get there.

I am an interventionist and consultant who helps families find appropriate treatment options for their loved ones. All of the clients I have placed at Jaywalker have had an excellent experience and have grown significantly throughout their time there. Their treatment approach is clinically sophisticated, and also acknowledges that treatment is only a small piece of the puzzle in regards to a lifetime of recovery. That is why they focus so much attention on community integration, which research indicates is what really results in long term change. Carbondale offers a rich recovery community, and Jaywalker is very much at the heart of that community. If your loved one is in need of great clinical work, meaningful experiences in recovery, and a strong and supportive community. Jaywalker would be an excellent option.

Coming here was the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m forever grateful that I did.

I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition. I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again. I have a solid recovery plan, relapse prevention plan and relapse plan. Everyone that works here is so encouraging and supportive. I have had so many laughs and good times here. I feel ready to go out in the world. I believe that I will never get stuck in active addiction again. I will just get back on the horse if a relapse does happen. I'm ready. Thank you innerbalance! I am very satisfied! 😀🙃 Amie Raniewicz

Life-Changing Experience I can’t say enough good things about this facility. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt safe, respected, and supported. The staff—nurses, therapists, and support team—truly care about each person’s recovery journey and go above and beyond to provide compassionate, individualized care. The detox process was handled with professionalism and empathy, ensuring I was as comfortable as possible. The treatment program was structured yet flexible, combining group therapy, individual counseling, education, and holistic approaches that helped me begin to heal not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. What truly sets this place apart is the genuine sense of community. I never felt judged—only understood and encouraged. I left with a renewed sense of hope, practical tools for long-term sobriety, and connections that continue to support me. This facility helped save my life, and I’m forever grateful. The staff were incredible and so endearing. The reviews of people mentioning friends passing or medical issues are some of the consequences of substance abuse and addiction which has absolutely nothing to do with the facility itself. My intake went very smooth and I felt welcome from the very second I walked in. The therapists, clinical teachers, curriculum, medical providers, and BHTs are above and beyond and make sure everyone is treated not only fair but with great hospitality. I wish more people struggling find this wonderful and safe place as I believe it has truly changed my life for the best.

Zinnia overall was a great experience! I encountered many strengths and a few faults. The faults came under scrutiny in the upper management role. I completely understand that Zinnia is a wellness facility and a business. The personal experience, to me was wellness was priority one, in the case of facilitators, techs and nurses. This was not the case in the roll of Director of Operations at the Singer Island facility. This individual showed little compassion and it was obvious that business outranked wellness. Colorado’s Recovery-Oriented, Clinically Driven, Medication Assisted Recovery Program Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery (CMAR) is an outpatient recovery program, specializing in the treatment of opioid dependence, co-occurring addictions and mental health concerns as well. Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery. Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care. Clients have shared positive feedback about feeling respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending CMAR to anyone seeking meaningful, professional substance use treatment in an outpatient setting.

Sandstone Care Denver is an outpatient rehab facility in Denver, Colorado, that offers support to teens, young adults and their families in order to help them get over drug and alcohol addiction. I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I loved this place so much to say the least. Sometimes it can be frustrating and anxiety inducing trying to find a good place to get treatment, especially when dealing with insurance companies. When I first reached out, I made the call in the early afternoon and they had me in the very next morning to do the intake!! I participated in the Adult PHP program and enjoyed every second of it, made many new friends and found every reason to stay sober. Shout-out to Sam and Wyndi, they are the best there is!! ❤️

I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe this center. I LOVED every single employee there. Every single one treated me with genuine kindness and compassion. Detox is rough on some people and they never ever made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. I stayed for 21 days and was so sad to leave. Mixed emotions. I made many new friends that were also in the program. But the therapists and nurses all have a special place in my heart. Much laughter, many tears (I’m an emotional person) and the feeling of finally finding a safe space where all of the things that I share stay there. My therapist still calls to check on me, love Mariah! My nurse practitioner Savannah, always listened to my questions and needs with such sincerity, I am truly blessed to have met her as well.

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Aspen Ridge Recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported. What stood out the most was the integrity and authenticity of the team—every therapist, counselor, and staff member truly cares about the people they’re serving. This isn’t just a place that goes through the motions. The staff takes time to get to know you as a person, not just a diagnosis or a case file. They’re consistent, honest, and deeply committed to helping you heal. Even when things got tough, they showed up with compassion and accountability, which helped me trust the process and stick with it. If you’re looking for a place where people actually care, and where your recovery is taken seriously in a safe and respectful environment, Aspen Ridge is that place. Read through some of the lower rated reviews and the reasons and am thinking how ridiculous people are. One review is for one star because the rehab wouldn’t write a letter testifying to someone’s behavior before or after the patient was in treatment? Why would a rehab write a letter discussing a patients behavior when they weren’t even in their care? Another one star is because the counselors smoke cigarettes. Okay what if the counselor didn’t smoke and drank coffee? Would you complain that they’re addicted to caffeine which undermines the program as well? It’s nicotine. This place is to get you off alcohol fentanyl cocaine Xanax etc, if you want to get off nicotine or have such an issue with it get a nicotine patch. Stayed here in 2020 and the facility and therapists were incredible.

While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I’ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It’s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven’t found a place that’s right for you.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

Things I loved Sandstone Care 1) Group therapy, and learning new skills. 2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy. 3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions. I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

I was a client at The Foundry Treatment center in 2018 and to this day my experience and knowledge I acquired at "The Ranch" is invaluable. I have had my fair share of struggles since, as many of us do in recovery. That said, without the tools I obtained from the clients to the techs, clinical staff all the way up to the Clinical Director, I would be as good as dead. I learned patience, self-care, and most importantly forgiveness. The simplest things such as being able to be mindful and practice awareness are vital to staying on track. Understanding your own red flags and being comfortable and open to vulnerability were instilled upon me in this program and I am forever in debt. They took an approach to treatment I had never experienced. We were more than just a number being herded around. They fought for us and our recovery. I wish everyone got the opportunity to have this experience and at the drop of a hat I would go back to visit and thank each and every one working there. If you are struggling or know anyone struggling do whatever it takes to get to this facility. It will change your life. Thank you, Foundry family. - MO

I went into healing pines unassured how the experience would play out mainly due to a terrible past experience at different recover center. I’m not going to lie, the first few days I was hesitant. It wasn’t until day 6 that I truly surrendered myself and gave into all healing pines had to offer. The cold plunge, the donkeys, the pickleball courts, the gym, the disc golf course, not to mention the 40 acres of sheer beauty and peace you are able to wander around. The intimate setting and vibe of the ranch was a totally different refreshing and welcoming experience. The staff was top notch and actually gave a damn about how you were doing and were truly vested in your recovery. I couldn’t ask for better counselors. They were there round’ the clock for you if you needed them. The other patients were also of quality caliber. Everyone mingled and got along very well. Having such a small sized group allowed for me to connect and relate much easier and quicker. Healing pines is top tier crème de la crème of recovery services. I would and will 💯 percent recommend this facility to anyone truly attempting to truly make a change and get sober. The intimate setting and atmosphere has provided me the greatest momentum towards my personal recovery. I will never forget this place and the people who have impacted my life here. I feel truly blessed to have walked through those doors and begin a new, exciting chapter in my life. The tools and knowledge I received here have set me up for success. I couldn’t be happier having found this place. Truly a blessing to be apart of such a remarkable recovery center.

The recovery process in itself is never an easy process. For most it takes hitting rock bottom or feel like there is no “outlet” to finally get up the nerve to seek help for something that may seem out of control. How do I know this, I was in that exact situation where I had basically given up and didn’t think it was going to get any better. And then I talked to Paul. Never in my life had I talked with someone (that at the time I had no previous interaction with) that actually listened and offered that glimpse of hope. After a hour or so conversation with Paul I decided that it was time to change. Being a guy and in my 40’s, it was never easy to ask for help or admit I had a problem. Walking in the door at Healing Pines changed all of that. From the minute I walked in the door you are not just a paycheck or someone to fill a spot, it is blatantly obvious that anyone and everyone that is there actually cares. Walking into this place you can be the most broken and hopeless person, when you leave you honestly won’t recognize the person you were when you walked in. The care is amazing, you will be given everything that you will need to maintain your sobriety and be part of society again. I can say from my own personal experience at Healing Pines that it can be scary and intimidating at first, but this fades so quickly. If you let the program work, and you invest everything you have to give, it will work for you! I normally don’t write or leave reviews. But this one is different. If I can convince at least one person to take the step and do it for themselves, it’s worth it. I am able to write this review because I am alive! And the reason for that is Healing Pines. Without their help and guidance, I wouldn’t be here. There are times where it can be tough and you may second guess yourself, but at the end of the day you will be able to look at how far you have come and know that you can do it. At the end of the day, what is your life worth? From the bottom of my heart I sincerely thank EVERYONE at Healing Pines (Paul, Cathy, Paul, Becca and Noelle) without this place and people I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here enjoying a great life completely sober! I am proud to be a HPR alumni, and I wear it as a badge of honor along with my brothers!

The freedom to roam the 40-acre property at my own pace—whether on a quiet mile-long hike or just soaking in the vastness of the land—felt like a gift. It gave me space to breathe, reflect, and heal in a way I never could in a sterile setting. Mornings started with breathtaking sunrises that set a tone of hope, awe, and the cold plunges I did once a week were both challenging and invigorating, waking up my body and mind. Caring for the three miniature donkeys: Andy, Quill, and Kiwi was a highlight—those gentle creatures taught me patience and presence in a way I didn’t expect. What truly made this place magical was the small group of seven guys I shared the experience with. We became like family, sharing vulnerable moments that created bonds I know will last a lifetime. Paul, the director, has crafted an incredible program that feels like a sanctuary for healing and growth, his personable touch, like taking us to the gym and working out with us made us feel deeply supportive. Kathy, our cook and intake nurse, welcomed us like a beloved aunt, on the weekdays, through delicious meals and conversation creating a sense of family. This ranch isn’t just a place; it’s a feeling of home, connection, healing, and possibilities. I’d recommend it to anyone who feels stuck in traditional recovery and craves nature, community, and a chance to rediscover themselves surrounded by magical scenery and magical people. The experience is still fresh in my heart! ❤️🙏🌲🏓🎳🏌️🥎🏋️🧘‍♂️🚲🎼🎨🥗

My experience at the rose house has been deeply transformative and life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of safety and structure that allowed me to finally slow down and start focusing on healing. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly compassionate—they genuinely care about my well-being and treat me with respect and empathy. The program is well-organized and includes a mix of individual therapy, group sessions, and holistic activities like yoga, mindfulness, and art therapy. The therapists and counselors are skilled at digging into the root causes of my struggles, not just treating the surface-level symptoms. I appreciated how they tailored my treatment plan to meet my specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Living in a supportive community of peers who are also working on themselves is one of the most helpful parts. We are able to share openly, hold each other accountable, and celebrate small victories together. The environment encourages honesty, vulnerability, and personal growth. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Meals are nutritious and balanced, and the daily schedule helped me develop structure and discipline in my life again. Recovery isn’t easy, and there are definitely difficult days, but The rose house has given me the tools, support, and space I needed to begin rebuilding my life. I would highly recommend The rose house to anyone who is ready to make a change and commit to their recovery journey. This place has given me a second chance at life.

In June 2021, I hit 3rd stage renal failure caused by Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). I was eligible for a kidney and referred to the Transplant Center at what is now AdventPorter Hospital in Denver and have worked with the Drs, Nurses, and ancillary staff in ever aspect of the transplant orocess. I can start by saying all staff at the clinic are absolutely amazing. Their compassion and empathy are only surpassed by their knowledge and professionalism. Over the past four years, I went through several months of evaluation, finding a living donor, transplant, recovery, and three years of post transplant observations. As a nurse, I can say that this staff are among the best I have worked with over my 37 years in the medical profession. I was a major player in my care and they respected my opinions and input. Though I was a patient, I was respected as a medical professional and was asked for my observations and opinions along the way. I reached my three year transplant anniversary on 8/26/2025 and my time at this clinic came to an end. I can say with confidence, that if you are contemplating which transplant center to go to for a kidney transplant or renal care, I highly recommend the Kidney Transplant Team at AdventPorter hospital. You will receive the highest quality of care from all staff members and as an impatient customer the dietary staff make the best food of most of the 40+ hospitals I have worked or been a part of. I cannot name all the names of the Drs, Nurses, and staff I encountered, but know there were zero problems encountered during that time frame and all were great to work with. I have the deepest respect and gratitude for the team I worked with over the past 4 years! I came in a train wreck and came out a new person. Thank You!!! 😊

I just started to see a counselor at diversus. The only reason I’m not giving them Five stars is because I’m looking for someone very, very experienced. Otherwise, I must say, I’m very impressed with the guy I met just today.

I’ve had a great experience with Diversus since I started going, participating in their IOP program, attending groups, and more. My most recent positive experience was working with Lauren Runyon, a Job Coach at Diversus Health. I could tell from our first meeting that she genuinely cares about her clients’ success and helping them get back on their feet—and that’s exactly what she did for me. After losing my previous job, Lauren’s guidance and support helped me secure what I now call my “forever job.” She was knowledgeable, encouraging, and always prompt in answering any questions I had. From start to finish, it was a completely positive experience, and her dedication truly made a difference in my life.

The facility and faculty played a pivotal role in my recovery. It is because of my time here that I have had almost a full year of sobriety and more to go. Rebecca, my therapist, was the right person to help me work through my issues, and Paul was amazing at supporting me and reminding me that I am worth it. Ricco.. I look forward to all the cool Alumni events you are coordinating. One hundred percent recommended.

Raleigh House is an incredible program in Colorado that truly stands out. The team is dedicated, the environment is supportive, and their approach to recovery is both thoughtful and effective. Rashad and Sam were especially great, authentic, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about helping people heal. It’s always inspiring to see a team that genuinely cares and is making a real impact.

My son survived a terrible car accident in which he was driving, very drunk. After realizing that he should have died in the accident he agreed he needed help. He admitted to using drugs and alcohol for many years. Sandstone saved my son, with personal therapy and family therapy and lots of support, he returned to me the son I always knew. Sober and a willingness to live life without the drugs and alcohol. Thank you Sandstone staff.

We recently sent our son to Sandstone and it was probably the best decision we’ve ever made. The communication, the people and the support we have received has been phenomenal. I wholeheartedly recommend this program. I honestly believe it is life-changing for us and our child. It has given us hope again. My only advice is, try not to be paralyzed by indecision because you will not regret taking the step.

Our family has had experience with many different inpatient, Outpatient and sober living and Mile High has by far been the best program. We were at our lowest point and going down the list of programs and feeling more and more hopeless with each call, until we called Mile High and spoke with Jill. She met us where we were and shared her story and listened to ours without judgement. She prepared us for the next steps and what to expect. The staff overall is great and really care. Thank you Mike High for changing so many lives!

I have been going to this clinic for awhile now. You get out of it what you put Into it. I personally don't have any support system or family to help me with anything but Tara at New Season's has been amazing. You can tell she really really cares about her clients and definitely goes above and beyond to try to help in anyway she can. I don't think I'd still be going if it wasn't for her and now I don't feel so lost and alone either. They have made alot of changes there I believe people should give this place a try now if they've gone there before and had a negative experience.

My wife and I decided to get clean and sober together ❤️ we have been sober and coming to the clinic for almost 4yrs now! New Seasons may have saved our lives, couldn't have done it without the MAT program that they provide. And of course each other 😀

This Clinic has changed my life. Both my Husband & myself have been clean for almost 4 years. We couldn't have done it without New Seasons. I've been coming to this clinic for over 3yrs now. When I first came I was pregnant and scared, almost losing my babies. 😞 Thank god we never did tho!! It took me a min to accept the fact that I actually did need help, but once I did start helping myself, and being present for my kids, and holding myself accountable, new seasons was there as well. It took me 3 counselors to get in with the right one, and I absolutely LOVE Julie ❤️ she's a good one 😉 "The trick" to actually liking the clinic, is truly wanting to do better and than DOING IT! Because in the end its YOUR recovery that should matter to YOU. It is a safe place to work on sobriety and yourself. The meds help, but make sure to take them correctly or else you may feel withdraws and in my experience it's worse than regular withdraws. And IF you do happen to relapse, they help you thru it and not "condem" you. I've recommended a few friends to the clinic and it makes me feel good seeing them better themselves! Knowing that I helped in a way 😉 PS. I miss Trudy, Mary, and Joann 🤪

When I first arrived at Banyan Treatment Center, I wanted to leave every single day. Recovery isn’t easy, and I truly struggled at the beginning. But I stuck it out, and I’m so grateful I did. The program helped me learn how to set healthy boundaries and build stronger relationships, which has been life-changing. I especially want to thank my therapist, Julie Cheney—she is absolutely amazing. Her support, guidance, and understanding made all the difference in my journey. I highly recommend Banyan to anyone who is ready to do the hard work and change their life. To be you help save my life!

Lots of caring professionals. I'd single out Lois, a nurse in the surgery department (or recovery room), who went way beyond what I'm pretty sure her job description required to help me out, Dani, good at explaining what was happening, Megan, also a soothing and knowledgable voice and the male nurse (sorry, I didn't get his name but he was pretty tall) in the recovery room the evening of the 29th who stayed with us until our shuttle arraived and provided insite as to what had happened
