A family member of mine discovered Jaywalker from a friend. I had no concept of sobriety and had spent the better half of two decades struggling with drug abuse and alcoholism. I was ready to give up. I walked through the doors of Jaywalker Lodge in August 2024 and never looked back. Jaywalker gave me all of the tools, support, and motivation to give my life purpose again and LIVE. I would challenge anyone who struggles with this disease to find a better treatment center. It will work for you, if you want it.

This was a once in a lifetime experience I never would in a million years have expected I would have and love. Yes it’s a rehab and is a big commitment, most notably the financial aspect. Yet it was totally worth the investment both in terms of all the money me and my family spent for me to go through yet even more so the time. I had gone to one treatment center before I ended up doing Jaywalker just over a year ago. The difference was I really felt the love and support from pretty much everyone involved with Jaywalker from the time that I toured throughout my stay. This is for me the most important part of what speaks volumes about Jaywalker. From the staff to the alumni program to the guys I went through with it doesn’t get much better. All I have to say really is if you give yourself over to the program and allow it to work it can prove life changing. I was beyond lucky that I happened to have grown up and still be living in the Aspen area where Jaywalker is located. I am forever grateful that I finally came to terms with my addiction and got myself checked in and stuck with it. I never gave sobriety a real thought whatsoever until my life blew up in my face. Over sixteen months later having stuck with it my life is so much better than I could have imagined and it’s all thanks to Jaywalker. The biggest thing I would say about Jaywalker is if you do it and get through your time you’ll be a part of an amazing alumni program that for me is like an extended family of mine. So many of these guys for me are like brothers at this point and it would have never happened had I not just grown the hell up and confronted my problems. I could rave all day long about Jaywalker suffice it to say I highly recommend it.

Jaywalker saved my life and gave me a second chance to start in on a new path, when I had absolutely no options left. This place is like a home to me and always will be. I came in reeling from years of selfish drug use. Jaywalker taught me how to live life with love and empathy. I can say with all honesty that jaywalker laid the ground for me to have a chance at life, slowly giving me the space to learn how to live it, enjoy it, love it, and grow.

For a place that I was very nervous about going to, I ended up really enjoying my time spent here. The staff is amazing and the facility is clean and welcoming. I am so grateful for what I’ve learned and the support I was given on my journey.

When I first came to Peaks, I was broken, depressed, hopeless, and completely lost. I truly didn’t believe things could get better. But my experience at Peaks changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a community of supportive, caring people who genuinely wanted to see me grow. I built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime, with people who stood by me through every high and low of my recovery journey. The groups and therapists were absolutely incredible, I learned more here than I ever have in any other program. The structure at Peaks helped me build consistency, confidence, and real progress. The staff went above and beyond every single day, they truly cared about us as people, not just clients. Even the food was amazing (shoutout to the chefs, you made every meal feel special!). The activities were another huge part of my healing, basketball, pickleball, volleyball courts right on property, yoga, art supplies, gym equipment, hikes twice a week, church, Recovery Dharma, and so much more. There was always something positive and grounding to be a part of. I am endlessly grateful for my time at Peaks Recovery. I’ve been to a lot of different treatment centers, sober livings, therapists, etc over the years and now work in the industry myself. I attended the CMHS IOP after struggling with a depressive episode and was super impressed by the professionalism, organization, and kindness of every staff member I interacted with. Counselors are great. Office staff very helpful. Program is nutrition based and the meals are very good and very healthy. You will feel great physically and mentally if you follow their program.

I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition. I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again. I have a solid recovery plan, relapse prevention plan and relapse plan. This was my 3rd attempt at recovery and I have to say it was not without challenges but I believe I got exactly what I needed. The staff is a little shorthanded but they took amazing care of me. I have to give shoutouts to a few of the staff that went above and beyond. Doc G Janet David Arno who are clinicians and teach classes are all amazing. The BHT’s work their tails off taking care of the clients. Anthony, Marla, Melissa, Heather, Dan, Ashley, and countless others. I just got home yesterday and my recovery plan is top notch. I also want to personally thank Elizabeth the event coordinator who is always above and beyond and truly cares about the clients. She needs to be recognized for all of her hard work. If you’re looking to just detox or a limited program then think about either going somewhere else or pour it all in. I was fortunate enough to decide the latter. I also am a VA patient and there are things to be said for how they “VA” track you, which was very upsetting but the curriculum can’t be touched if you do EMDR, I recommend Arno. Remember that you’re the driver of your sobriety, easy to say, but if you choose to go here, accept everything you’re given and push back and don’t be afraid to listen to others. Everyone here is GREAT! The kitchen accommodated my diet (with a smile), the therapist really help you dig deep, and the culture is amazing! If you're struggling this place is a really great place!

Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery. Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care. Clients have shared positive feedback about feeling respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending CMAR to anyone seeking meaningful, professional substance use treatment in an outpatient setting.

Got financially discharged after 10 days because my insurance was not verified for the entire visit. They did not do their due diligence and properly verify my insurance. They did not fight or appeal it, they just asked me to leave. Not only was I mortified, I was also left broke and still broken. I cashed out my 401k to go to this rehab, and paid the deductible for my plan which was either $7500 or $10,000. I trusted them to help me in my journey to sobriety but instead they added to my list of traumatic events and sadly I am still fighting to that same goal. They did not care about me as a person, they only seen me as a dollar and when I read the reviews it makes me mad that I was not extended this warm caring that so many are talking about. I tried to leave a BBB complaint or review but this facility doesn't participate so the next best way to make sure I can help to make it never happen again is an accurate review.

Incredible program!

I went to Northpoint in November of 2022. This facility offered an array of services and classes. This facility saved my life. The music classes were always my favorite and the food was amazing. There were art supplies and fun games to play to pass the time. I loved having my own room and bathroom. The staff was so nice and took care of me. They were there for good and bad moments. I met a lot of people that mean a lot to me.

North point has been nothing but an amazing place for me to get away from all the mess and find myself again. The staff is the absolute best. So funny and super open/honest with everyone. Very understanding. The free time we were given outside of class to be outside in the beautiful weather and chat with other peers meant so much to me. This place really allowed me to open up to others, which has been a struggle for me for a long time now. And the outings to go to meetings and get a feel of what recover looks like outside of the facility has given me the courage to keep pursuing that after release and to go meet others in recovery and continue down this path. One of a Kind! Healing Pines is the only place you’ll EVER need! This was my first time in treatment and after a long hard look and lots of conversations with Paul, something just felt right about this place. Great place, people, and program.

This place literally saved my life. Paul and the rest of the staff are amazing people! HPR is exactly what I was looking for in a treatment center. It’s small and intimate and therefore you will get really close with the guys here. You don’t feel like you’re in a clinical setting but it’s not like you’re getting well at a resort. After learning about the lengths that Paul went to in creating this place, it speaks VOLUMES about how much he cares. The community was hesitant but he knew that this is where he was going to help people and made it happen. You will do some deep introspection and healing with your brothers. I would go and play disc golf with my therapist and he always listened intentionally to what I had to say. I miss this place!! The culture here is very special. This place saved my best friend's life. Almost 2 years ago she decided to go to Narconon. It was the hardest decision she ever made and the hardest thing she has ever done. DWR literally saved my life. When I first entered the program I was a beyond broken 21 yr old who thought their life would definitely end in incarceration. After leaving a correctional facility, doing a full treatment program I had no where to go. DWR full forced swept in and welcomed me with open arms. The community within DWR is something I forever will hold near and dear to my heart. They helped me become an independent sober women and words could never be enough to express my gratitude. If you feel there is no hope left and your life is near the end, DWR is the life present you need. From dissecting your mental health and trauma to find the roots of your addictions is just a thin layer of what they offer. If you are a hopeless dope fiend DWR will change that mindset into a dope-less hope fiend! Get the help you deserve and start here.

This place is full of kind people and kind staff. Everyone has been so helpful and supportive. My social worker is amazing, and the whole team really cares. Every time I go to group, I feel like I get the help I need. If you're trying to get sober and quit alcohol, this is a beautiful place to start your journey. It was a good facility I was there for 55 days and now I'm in a sober living. The place is nice and you can get a lot of tools to take with when you leave. Idk but it seems like a lot of the younger patience are there on their 10th plus time they treated like a summer get away or something it's crazy how many people are in there that's been there a number of amount of times they all knew each other not to think I'm better then anyone but they leave and they come right back it must be the good food haha I would recommend this place anyone trying to go to a rehab. Staff are nice all the nurses are pretty cool

What helped at Mile High Recovery in Colorado was that they took my anxiety and depression seriously alongside the substance stuff. The care felt inclusive (I noticed they’re intentional about LGBTQ clients), and even small things like nutrition support made a difference for me day to day.

I did their residential track (basically inpatient rehab) and liked the mix of structure and actual trauma work. EMDR plus groups gave me a way to process things I’d been avoiding for years, not just white-knuckle sobriety.

If you’re scanning rehabs in Colorado and want options, know they explain MAT clearly and without pressure. We talked through Vivitrol vs Suboxone and how it would fit with therapy and step-down care. That honest conversation helped make my decision.

I had a life changing experience during my stay at the Rose House. The staff are kind and firm at the same time. The dynamics between the clients is also a very therapeutic part of it all. The way we cared and called each other out was very crucial to the whole experience. I would highly recommend this treatment center to anyone who is serious about a clean and sober lifestyle.

I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison) We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken. My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me. I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency. The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them. Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House. I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming. The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

The Rose House is the answer to our prayers! After many different programs and facilities we feel so grateful to have found a place that is truly committed to changing lives. These professionals know what they are doing and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your loved one does the hard work. They are equally committed to helping the entire family structure, giving them the tools and support to heal and restore. Trust the process and trust the Rose House!

After completing treatment at another facility that was twice as much money, I cant say enough about mountain springs recovery! All! All of the staff truly is dedicated to there jobs and care tremendously about your time there. Our son went in battling alcohol addiction. He got all the tools he needed to cope with his addiction. The staff worked with him and were patient while it took him a bit to embrace and accept all the program has to offer. He came out a new young man with a new look on life.

I just remembered porter saved my life 10 years ago by sending me on flight for life for a heart attack I was pretty much pronounced dead but my kids fought for me and a young dr walking down the hall stopped by and said if you can get your mom to move her finger or react in any way I will put her on flight for life I moved my finger and ill always remember that young dr that saved my life

Great hospital great staff! There is a bad egg though. One of the hospitalists named Dr Coiro. Do yourself a favor if she comes in your room fire her before she gets ahold of your chart. She won’t listen to you talks over you. Comes up with bizarre out of this world reasons why your sick. And kicks you out. She literally said sugar free hot coacoa was making my wife sick. She’s been here 2 weeks and started drinking it (3 days ago) because it was the only thing she could keep down without throwing up. If anything it was the only thing helping here really. The other Dr didn’t have a problem with it. So if you’re sick avoid her.
