I can not find the words to describe how BeachHouse treated me! I will be sober 3 years on 12/23 I live in KY but somehow in.that crazy time when.i decided I needed help. I.had no idea where I was going. Once I landed it was a 45min drive. The person who drove me was so kind we arrived and they were waiting for me. Then I met Bianca the next day and from that moment I felt safe sweet smile & big hugs. The whole staff down to the cleaning lady treated me so good!! I could go on forever. I'm now part of the alumni & it's great to see all they do for us. The zoom meeting they set up & they check on you. God bless the AlumniTeam. Bianca I love when you post those awesome videos !!! My name is Astra, I am 16 years old, and I was a resident at Evolve over 50 days. I stayed back in February to March of 2026. This place was not perfect, it had and I’m sure has many flaws still, but overall, I am very grateful to Evolve for all the help they have provided me. There were fun times and hard times, but everything helped me grow and develop in ways I didn’t think possible. When I arrived, I had just gotten out of the mental hospital a second time after failing to stay stable in my IOP program. I was depressed, shy, anxious, and having hallucinations of a traumatic event that sent me to the hospital and now here. There were a few other kids there. For privacy’s sake, I will not name them. However, I was immediately welcomed with open arms. As someone who has been hated and belittled by peers my entire life, this was a first for me. People came and went, and I developed steady relationships. There was someone I called a brother, a mom of the group, two guys who I liked messing with, and a girl who was also like a sister to me. We often made jokes around the dinner table, because at that time, the facility didn’t have a chef, and we had to eat catering food that sometimes could be nothing short of abysmal. My therapist was Makenna (sorry if I spelled that wrong.), and she is a kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful person. She helped me face my fears, let me cry out my sadness, and helped me see that other people aren’t always so horrible. Thanks to her, I built strong relationships with my RC’s and fellow clients. I saw a review about this place that bothered me. A woman sent her child here and was bothered because the other children were “more unstable” and that they traumatized her son. I probably would’ve been one of those kids. I think it’s unfair to separate us by class of our mental health, as everyone deserves a chance to recover, and if you are going to be judgmental towards others, maybe this isn’t the right place for your child. The pool was also out of commission, but we got to heal in a new way, thanks to it. There were newts and frogs down at the pool, and me and my fellow (willing) clients were able to go down and form connections with them. We even gave them names. On the weekends, we went on outings with staff, and got to experience the world through a different lens than what we saw before. One of my favorite memories from Evolve was trying to wake up my housemates every morning. We couldn’t go to breakfast until everyone was up, so the early risers had to hilariously fight the deep sleepers for the promise of food. I feel like I have sugarcoated everything so far, so I’ll go into the harder times as well. Although we were all pretty bonded, there were definitely still fights among us, as people came and went, and not everybody got along. Things could get pretty ugly, and I can’t lie and say that it wasn’t scary. Thanks to my therapist and the team though, things got settled and life moved on. If I had one thing I didn’t like however, it is the current/new program director. She was managing another house, and proceeded to neglect us in the process, causing us to not have outings and feel trapped in the house. However, the other staff were very kind, and some of them even felt like parents to me. Levi, Nick, Ernestine, and all of you, I miss you guys, and I’m so thankful for all of your help. I also struggle with a disability, epilepsy, to be exact. However, Evolve made adjustments and helped me with daily life. I feel like since I’ve been at Evolve, life has just been different. I haven’t felt this free and happy in a long time, like the chains of depression, fear, and PTSD that held me for so long are gone, or at least a little lighter. If you know someone that needs a helping hand, a nurturing environment, and fellow peers who also struggle to remind them that they are not alone, Evolve is a good choice. I don’t regret going, and I am endlessly thankful for everyone there. If you read this to the end, thank you, and I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

Rehab pricing isn't a single number. Costs can swing dramatically based on the level of care, length of stay, and what the program actually includes. Even two people seeking the same treatment can face very different costs depending on clinical needs, location, and financing options.

How Long Does Rehab Last?

Rehab is not meant to be a one size fits all timeline. The typical program length is usually tied to your exact clinical needs, not a preset number of days. Detox severity, level of care, and the plan for stepping down afterward can all change what long enough looks like.

What Should I Expect At Drug Rehab?

A lot of fear comes from not knowing what rehab will actually feel like day to day. Most programs run on a structured schedule that can include therapy, skills building, and sometimes medication support, but the details vary by setting and level of care.

How Do I Get A Loved One In Treatment?

Getting a loved one into treatment is rarely about finding the perfect thing to say in a single conversation. It often takes a thoughtful plan that balances care with clear boundaries, and it helps to know when an intervention is useful versus when another approach may work better.

What Happens After Rehab?

Leaving rehab can bring relief and anxiety at the same time, especially in the first days back in normal life. Support does not end at discharge, and the next steps often matter as much as the time spent in treatment.

What Does Insurance Cover?

Insurance can help pay for rehab, but coverage is rarely straightforward when you get into plan rules and what care is considered necessary. If private insurance is not an option, other paths may exist, but the details are easy to miss without a clear breakdown.
