This is the best treatment center I have ever been to and I have been to many. Besides the scenic location and the beautiful, clean house, the staff are incredible. They're awesome. They are life savers. Chris Mills (therapist) sets the tone - he ensures that the atmosphere of recovery is maintained. Without that we would all just be 'doing time' there. He is the de facto spiritual leader and I thank God that I have had the oppurtunity to learn from his demonstration. Ashleigh (therapist) has extensive experience of staying clean no matter what and transforming her life into something beautiful. She radiates that. I wish we all would see Rich (administrator) more as he is a spiritual master. Incredibley accessible spiritual wisdom he has. He can make difficult concepts about recovery easily digestible. Chris J (head supervisor) can make even the most desperate addict smile and want to take recovery serious. You cant help but know he understands the worst of the worst and doesnt judge. He just wants us all to recover. The recovery coaches are personable, friendly and funny but also hold us accountable and guide us in our recovery through their own experience. Thank you Ethan, Roger, Dylan, Daryl, Ryan, Noah, Tony, Led, Hunter and Bryant. The medical staff are just as wonderful. Theyre part of the family you become when there. Thank you Andy, Alex, Shane and Ashley. Thank you Biscuit and Suki for being good doggies. I wish I could go back - even sober - so I could learn and practice more in that environment. Any time spent there is a blessing. The nickname is right about this place - "The Miracle on the Hill."

I graduated from this program and went on to the Stepworks sober living and I now have 1 year clean. The therapists are probably the best part about the place, but all of the staff genuinely want to help you. It's in a very secluded place so it's nearly impossible to leave to use. Unlike most other places it's a big mansion with half the people upstairs and half downstairs. I stayed upstairs and the A/C was almost too good in the summer. It probably stayed 62 degrees up there. Would definitely recommend this if you are serious about getting sober.

Literally the best rehab center I’ve ever attended. Had intensive group therapy multiple times a day, and it help me with all my issues. They had a full blown gym, and I made actual brothers there. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE.

I've been at crossroads for quite some time pretty much since they open the one off cargo Court and everybody that works there is super nice easy to get along with the nurses are great the counselors are great except they need to get there overhead speaker fixed so we can hear them call out our names to dose it's really annoying to try and hear them yell.it out from.om the back they have the equipment already installed it just needs to be turned back on and it's super ridiculous we have to sit and listen for them to scream out our names and the nurses and staff shouldn't have to do that when before when they did have it we could hear them good and they we able to play some sooting music or something I bet the names being called it was such nived plz get that fixed.

Great experience. Starting off on a reasonable amount that will have you feeling better the first day. Only one complaint when there is only one nurse in, the waiting room could be 2-3 hours so if you can , go first thing in the morning.

Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings. It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works

Isaiah house saved me! I was at the Shelley Center during the most difficult times of my life as I had breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on both sides. I hated myself. My appearance seemed awful in my eyes. Shelley Center staff helped me work on fear and they went above and beyond to make sure I loved myself again. They went as far as to buy me my prosthetics so I could start loving myself again and feeling like a normal human being. They're not just an organization, they're a family. I couldn't have made it through the toughest time in my life without their love and support!

I’m not sure what else to say. The staff here including the entire treatment team, has taken a personal interest in my development in a way that no other organization ever has. The services here are outstanding, and the curriculum is second to none. It’s rare that you find an organization that LIVES & BREATHES its mission statement, in every single thing that they do. After years of struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorder, I now feel more free than ever, and best of all, I have the skills, knowledge, and positive habits to STAY free. A very special thank you to Allison for helping pair me with the best possible program for my SPECIFIC NEEDS; Hacky for making sure I was brought into Roaring Brook with dignity, care, encouragement, and for always being a positive force and a smiling face; Keith for being the best peer support anyone could ask for; Kara the case manager for taking a genuine interest in helping me jump hurdles that I couldn’t jump alone; Hillary for paying attention to my needs and helping tailor my program in a way that’s both best for me and sustainable, and for regularly using my input to affirm these choices; and my therapist Jarrod, who is a psychological wizard and is by for the best mental health and wellness practitioner I have ever encountered. This is my second time at Roaring Brook, and honestly, when I relapsed after two years of sobriety, I refused to go anywhere else. I’m from Michigan, so choosing to come all the way back to Kentucky says a lot about how much I trust this place and the people here. I knew that if I was going to get serious about my recovery again, Roaring Brook was where I wanted to be. Coming back a second time has only reinforced how grateful I am for this program. Relapse was incredibly difficult for me to accept after having two years of sobriety, but Roaring Brook gave me a place where I could be honest about where I was at, work through what happened, and actually focus on rebuilding my recovery instead of feeling judged for it. This time around, I was also able to participate in TRP (Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program), and it has made such a huge difference in my recovery. TRP has given me the opportunity to work through traumas that I hadn’t fully dealt with and understand how those experiences have affected me and my recovery. I’ve also learned actual coping skills that I can use when things get difficult instead of turning back to old behaviors. It has been a really important part of my healing and has helped me understand myself on a much deeper level. My experience with my therapist, Jarrod, has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve gotten so much out of treatment. He is genuinely one of the smartest and most thorough therapists I’ve ever worked with. He doesn’t just listen to respond — he really takes the time to understand what I’m saying, asks questions that make me think, and helps me connect the dots in ways I wouldn’t have been able to on my own. I’ve learned so much from working with him, and I’m incredibly grateful for the work he’s done with me. I’m also incredibly grateful for Alison, who manages the sober living I’m in. She is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares about the people in the house and goes above and beyond to make sure we have the support, structure, and accountability we need. Having that continued support outside of treatment has made a huge difference for me. What stands out most about Roaring Brook is that I never feel like I’m just another person going through a program. There are people here who genuinely care about my recovery and want to see me succeed. Being willing to travel from Michigan back to Kentucky for treatment, especially after a relapse, was a huge decision, but I know I made the right one. I’ll always be grateful that Roaring Brook was there for me not only the first time I got sober, but also when I needed help finding my way back. Recovery isn’t always a straight line, and I’m thankful to have found a place where I can keep growing, healing, learning, and becoming a better version of myself. I truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

GRATEFUL to have found treatment here! This facility is superb and this review is honest. For anyone reading reviews as I did looking for the place to go to treatment, hear this: go here ! The staff is great and my experience was beyond what I imagined. Food is great. Place is clean! Plenty of space! Visits on weekends . Movie nights with candy, popcorn, and pop once a week!! Therapists are great , and staff is there for you! I miss and love everyone I met here. They really care about you. We did many activities to remind us that there is life outside of the toxic substances we leaned on. I hope whoever is needing to hear this is reading. You can make a beautiful life for yourself. My name is Keith markland. I just got out of stepworks January 9. I am very grateful they helped me get a second chance because without them I would hate to think where I would be now. I learned so much while I was there and each and every staff member were there to help me. It has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. Since I have returned home I am still doing great. I would recommend this place for sure especially their PHP program, it was my very first time coming here and to be honest i was very nervous and scared but it was actually a lot more welcoming than i thought and i think theres alot of good people here, and alot of people that help, especially the therapists, ive done 3 full months as a teen and i would say it was definitely a life changing experience and i made so many connections and friends, and i just took so much from this place, and i learned so much about myself as well, 100% recommend PHP and their IOP program.

I enjoyed the virtual IOP treatment more than I thought I would. It worked well with my work schedule and I got to be comfortable at home as well as being comfortable in the group. I was able to connect and exchange information with my peers and expand my recover/Sobriety network!

During my recovery, I have been to many inpatient rehabilitation facilities, and CGR was one of my best experiences. The staff, especially the PESs and facilitators, were excellent and always helped when I needed support. The food was good, with enough for everyone and seconds available upon request. My needs were met, and I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking serious recovery. My therapist was also very helpful, and I truly appreciate everything that was done for me. The only issue I had was some of my food was stolen, but I think things like that are to be expected among people who are in recovery and disparate.

So I Went through Edgewater Which is now ARIA same staff it is a phenomenal program with phenomenal people. They introduced me to narcotics anonymous which is a program. I never had tried before and just recently got two years clean. They sent me up for the beginning to stay clean. It is the only place I’ve ever seen where when you get to go to meetings you’ll see the staff there and they treat you like family not a number. I also used to work for the same program, which is ARIA and both experiences were phenomenal. I highly recommend this if you want to change your life it changed mine. I went in broken with a backpack of dirty clothes and no options. They gave me resources and taught me a new way to live within that two years of me being clean, I’ve got my own place on car own tags on insurance living like an adult and it’s all thanks to the beginning from what you taught me

This place has saved my life. Not just my life but the lives of my daughters as well. Without the staff and my clean sisters here, they wouldn’t have a mother anymore. My husband had surgery at the Louisville VA Medical Center, and the care he received before, during, and after surgery was incredible. Dr. Klein, Roberto, and the entire team were supportive, patient, and made sure he was comfortable every step of the way while also keeping me informed. The follow‑up after surgery was excellent as well — any time we called with questions, they were kind and quick to help. The VA physical therapy staff were energetic, encouraging, and made recovery something my husband actually looked forward to. Thanks to their guidance, we are back to enjoying time together for outdoor activities. We’re both incredibly grateful for the care he received and words really are not enough to share our gratitude for every interaction before, during, and after his procedure. This place is great. Doctors and all staff. I have been to ER twice and had a 5 day stay. I have had appointments in various apartments. I have been treated by great caring Doctors and Nurses. I have also had community services to get treatment faster then VA could provide,they sent me to a Saint surgeon known as Dr Yakkanti U OF L. The pharmacy has been most helpful. Community Services has been very responsive. When you walk down the hallway at Rex VA. Your brothers and sisters always are kind. Everyone acts like they know and want to help you. I am sorry some are upset about a problem. You deserve your say and fight. I hope you get it resolved. I deserve mine to. THANK YOU REX VA FOR KEEPING ME IN THE FIGHT OF LIFE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I was at the Westcare facility there in Ashcamp from early 2024 till mid fall 2024. I'd heard horror stories about the facility and staff while incarcerated. I was shocked when arrived there to finish my sentence out. The food is actually good and the staff...I cried when I left. The men and women there had made me feel like a human being. They helped me through the re-entry process and were professional yet human. I may not have agreed with every procedure there, but they cared and it showed. Mr. Sebastian, and everyone there... thank you for all you did.

This review is a little late in the making. This treatment facility, it's programs and it's staff were great. This is the type of treatment center you want when you are truly ready to change. I've seen a lot of ppl just quit and leave because of, well , you name it. If a person isn't truly ready for change then any excuse to leave is good enough no matter what treatment center it is. If you or a loved one or someone you know has a problem with addiction and is ready, I mean truly ready for positive change then I believe Westcare will help you do it.

This place changed my life I'm now clean an sober , I have regained my family , a job , and the knowledge , and tools that I needed to suceed being sober. My counselor Mr Ratliff understands the mindset of an addict . We all have a choice to either get clean or not . And the people that run off or give bad reviews in my opinion dont want to change , if nothing changes then nothing changes . I spent my whole life giving in to drugs the easy way it takes work to stay clean .

Update: 8/25/2026 - still sober!! 🥰 I checked in here (when it was still Landmark Recovery) on 01/07/2018 and have been sober ever since. This is the place where I learned how to start my new journey of recovery, and they helped me to build a solid foundation and gave me the tools to understand my addiction, its triggers, and how to cope with them. The schwartz center was the second treatment center that I've been to, and despite some of the negative reviews here, I found it to be nothing but love. All of the staff really cares about you and your recovery, like all rehabs there are some. Rules and structure that not all clients will agree with. But it's just how it goes, they are very simple. Rules. They feed you well while there too. And the case manager is amazing, she helped me out big time with some court stuff that I was dealing with. It's also a smaller more intimate setting. Not one of these massive rehabs where you can't learn anything or get individualized treatment from a therapist. Definitely recommend the team at Schwartz if you're wanting to better your life

The UTC is such an amazing facility that I have ever been too. The staff there is amazing, not to mention how they go out of their way to help those who in need. There have been a few things I would try and change or do better but I’m Not sure how much my advice or concerns would change the way things are done due to years of it being pretty much the same. The staff we have is great. I love our manager, Keisha and Julie and they do a great job of welcoming new people and making everyone who have been there still feel important as well. Day in and day out everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help. With such a high turnover rate If it were up to me I would make sure everyone got a raise and was based off of what they feel like they should deserve to be getting because whatever that number would be they have gone way over and above to make BHG feel like home even down to the decorations. It doesn’t makes sense to me in a day where no one has work ethic or desire to work and high turnover rates that you get good work who wants to be there and not compensate them for that. Everyone we have at this facility needs to be compensated for their time and effort and on making a choice to stay and put in the work and not constantly disown us and leave which as an addict consistency is something we need and when there’s turnover we feel it too. If we are truly cared about and this is a company that is truly trying to help in recovery we need to make sure we’re all getting the help we need and that also obviously includes the great team who makes it all possible and we don’t want to lose them!

The ladies here are amazing….If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be so dedicated to showing up for myself and treating my addiction, bc here at BHG I never feel judged only cared about. I’m grateful for this place.

The BHG Elizabethtown clinic is a life saver. It’s helped me get my normal life back on track. From the counsel you get to the ladies in the dosing room they’re all grade A ladies. They always greet you with a smile and a “how are you”. They never make you feel like a number. Couldn’t recommend more!

This program brought me out of the depths of hell and back to life. I thank the nursing staff, the techs and all others who made my journey here worth the effort. Specifically, I'd like to shout out to Aaron, for his charisma; the nurses: Abby, Dylan, Kylie, Amanda, Chris and Julie for all of their help with medical questions and being there when I needed someonw to chat with; the technicians: Bobby, Tim, Jen and Ms. Lisa for their companionship, teaching me the skills necessary to stay sober and showing me that recovery is truly possible. I was recently at Lydia's house phase 1. I balked at the thought of going to a faith-based rehabilitation facility as many struggling with addiction will. The staff and interns at all of the ARC (Addiction Recovery Care) facilities are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. They really do care and it shows. If you are struggling with addiction and have been to other rehabs where God was only mentioned in step 3, then I urge you to give it a chance. God really lives in that house and through the people there. Patience, open-mindedness and acceptance are just two of their MANY loving traits. I was in Elizabeth's room across the hall from Mary's room and beside Hannah's room which is adjacent to Sarah's room. These are not the names of clients, rather the names given to each room in the house so given because they are women of the Bible who had miraculous births. if you are ready to birth a miraculous new life then give Lydia's house a call I promise you you will be glad you did God bless and have a wonderful day.

I had taken my daughter to numerous rehab centers and she always relapsed. After spending 30 days here she moved on to phase 2 at Beth’s blessings. I can’t say enough good things about this place so I’m just gonna say I’m so greatful for everything they have done for my daughter. My daughter is back to her old self and has found the lord and been saved. Addiction is hell and if you want to change your life and you have to want to, then I recommend this place.

Absolutely healthy non-toxic caring and supportive environment for someone who wants help and is willing to make some changes and follow instructions... It's not a difficult environment / program and they do everything they can to help you the food is great they provide hues clothes and everything you need you will not want for anything while you're there.l I'm a 55-year-old white guy who has struggled with addiction all my life meth whiskey marijuana and other things when I couldn't get those things and I felt very comfortable there very appreciative and very grateful for the opportunity I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to escape the madness and work on their recovery
