About the Contest:
If you are an occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, respiratory therapist, speech-language pathologist or student in one of these disciplines, submit a video telling us why you love doing what you do each day.
Rehab.com developed the Why I Love Being a Therapist Video Contest to help educate the general public about some of the nation's fastest growing fields.
This contest is about you! Tell us why you're committed to your practice, and what you love about your chosen profession. If you're a student, tell us what you love about your future career! Be creative.
The job outlook for rehab therapy practitioners is strong, even during weak economic times. This contest provides rehab therapists and therapy assistants with an opportunity to promote their remarkable experiences in dynamic careers.
It's easy to enter the Rehab.com Why I Love Being a Therapist Video Contest. Simply create a 2-3 minute video telling the world what you love about your chosen career, upload your video to YouTube, and complete a contest entry form on Rehab.com. You must be a registered user of YouTube and Rehab.com in order to participate. Prizes will be awarded in two categories: “GRS Choice,” which will be selected by a panel of Genesis Rehab Services judges, and “People’s Choice,” which will by selected by the general public. The prizes include:
1. $5,000 Grand Prize, GRS Choice (1)
2. $5,000 Grand Prize, People’s Choice (1)
3. $2,500 Runner-Up, GRS Choice (2)
4. $2,500 Runner-Up, People’s Choice (2)

Create an original video about why you love being a therapist that is between two (2) and three (3) minutes in length and that complies with the contest terms and conditions. |

Go to www.youtube.com and upload your video. If you are not a registered YouTube user, you will be required to register first. |

Complete the entry form by providing your contact information, reading and agreeing to the official contest rules, and providing a link to your video’s YouTube URL . You will be required to log in or register as a Rehab.com user before completing the entry form. |

Contest Timeline
Thursday, June 10, 2010: Contest entries due
Monday, June 14, 2010: Contestants will be notified of their status in the contest; voting begins for "People's Choice"
Monday, June 28, 2010: Last day to vote for "People's Choice" videos.
Thursday, July 1, 2010: Winning contestants will be notified by this date; winning videos will be posted to Rehab.com
